Hi All
Had a very peaceful day today , kids went out with my brother for the day they came back at 8pm , my brother has given them both an old ps2 game each he no longer wanted and so they both went to bed early to play them , so i think for the first time this week i will get to bed before midnight i hope.

If youre doing WW, which if memory serves me correctly, you are Quorn is really low in points. I make up a portion of Quorn mince which some Bolognese light sauce and it works out at 2.5 points for a good sized portion compared to 2/3 times that even for low fat mince.
They do a whole range of foods, all great for pointing0 -

hello all.
get the stick out for I am a gluttonous beast!!
everyone...repeat after me.."chips for lunch, and curry for dinner, will never make me any thinner!" !!!
Oh well, day 1 yet again. you'd think i couldn't count past the fingers on one hand at this rate!!!
Well i'm superdooper determined now!! started a food diary in my 'new' (previously erlqueen's!) SW book, and written down my start weight and targets.
I think all the mishaps and bad days are just my brain and belly's way of ignoring the new plan, but i'm not going to let fear/uncertainty make me lose my focus.
Got myself a gym classes timetable and a bunch of mates to jump around with which will definately help too.
Re: the Quorn debate, I have only seen quorn as cooked by one of my previous mousemates as she used to make quorn mince tacos, and honestly the mince looked and smelt like dirt (so sorry ajax!) and she also used to buy supermarket own vege sausages etc that also looked repulsive. also, the ingredients list on the back scares me!
But....after paying close attention to this discussion I might be up for trying some of the more interesting varieties once i've inspected them in the shop.
It just kinda grosses me out that they are like 'fake meat', and i do so love real meat!!!
Anyhooo, well done all you lucky losers (oh ok it's nothing to do with luck!! well done!!)

Some quorn stuff is nice but I find other stuff to have a rather odd taste to it. I don't even think of it as fake meat, it's just quorn and will never be as good as meat to me! IMO the best veggie sausages are cauldron ones, they're almost meaty and really tasty but expensive :eek:Official DFW Nerd Club - Member #398 - Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts :T
