    Morning Manic

Very quickly, as I have to take the car in for a service. If your doing two sessions a day on the treadmill, then drinking more fulid will need to be backed up by eating more carbs and complex ones at that, pasta, bananas and that sort of thing. Protein I am sure will help as well.

I will have a scout around when I get back, but in short its all about refuelling between sessions as the weak feeling in your legs, sounds to me as a drop in the bodies glycogen stores.

    hope that helps.

I've had a brilliant weekend, social and carefree. I am nearly T-total since about January this year and don't miss it tbh but had 'itchy' feet Friday and decided to go clubbing ergo 'let the vodka flow'. Of course this led to a late kebab and the usual recovering Saturday hangover food fest. So I was in my usual 'self destruct' mode but oddly am not berating myself this time. I've just got over it and got on with it again :j

Due to Big Brother sticking their oar in I can no longer smoke while sat at my desk which means my browsing habits will change  On the plus side I guess I will actually get to eat more as I'll need to stock up on veggie nibbles for when I can't sneak out to the car.

Back later peeps - with luck - hope everyone has a good day

Lovely to so many newbies on here welcome to you all. I can't belive it is thread 13 - I joined last August and I think it was 7 or 8 then.

Done my WI and I have stayed the same which is not bad as I have again gone of the rails a bit. The party on Saturday was very wet and we only stayed until 9pm so had about 3 glasses of wine but then last night I had 2 1/2 glasses so must have had 11 this week. Really bad.

This week will be awful diet wise due to me being away at a conference Weds, Thurs & Fri. I will try to be good but I will be socialising a lot and buying people lots of drinks will try to stick to lime and soda for me.

Love your meal planners I took stock of my freezers yesterday and now realise I have enough for several weeks. Cooked roast chicken yesterday so will have cold chicken tonight with Chips. Homemade but not SW as DH doesn't like them. Tuesday I will cook something nice and then who knows for the rest of the week.

As I cannot really see myself eating really healthy this week will cut out biscuits, sweets and crisps.

Anyway off to Exeter for a meeting today so will have to get on with it.

    Hi everyone,

I would like to join, i am desperate to lose weight. I have been on anti depressants for postnal depression for the last 2 years and have gone from a size 10 to a 16.

Now i am free of the tablets i would also like to be free of the weight. I am struggling to do it on my own so thought this might help. I have just eaten my first bowl of brekfast in 14 years :S special k and it was horrendous like soggy card board :rotfl: .

Looks like its gonna be a long hard battle.

    Hi vixx

Like you I did'nt used to have brekkie. The trick is to find something you like, not just have it cos everyone says you should! I tend to have fresh fruit salad now with yoghurt as I can't face anything else. I know other ( and wiser) people on here don't have it still but have managed to loose weight so don't beat yourself up if you really can't face it.

Welcome to maniac886,cazxx1,ryan07, recovering spendaholic and any other newbies I've missed.

Petrichor, baking so early:eek: I was still trying to open my eyes and find the kettle then.:D

Waiting for let up in rain b4 taking dog out but have a feelin I'm just gonna have to brave it:mad: It's JULY for heavens sake... should be in garden toppin up tan not goin rusty:rotfl: :rotfl:
