Hi again :hello:
This thread is becoming more and more like men behaving badly, or maybe it's Kevin and Perry go large! It's a good laugh tho!
Petrichor - I did struggle a bit with finding an outfit - everywhere has sales on so it was hard to see what was on offer, but then I spotted it, tried it on, and that was it. I've never bought the first item I tried on before! Did you get your Radley bag yet?
Suggs - we could have passed each other - we got there just after six! I like the Saturday night date idea, it's very easy to forget 'going out' when you live together. DH and I really needed to do something different last night - we're both having a stressful time with work, and it helped to put it out of our minds for a while.
Ajax - I like the sound of that recipe, although the mention of 'quiche' makes DH think he's getting something with pastry round it! When I first started SW corned beef was free food and we often had it in a quiche with onions and cottage cheese - he did like that, even without pastry, but it came off the menu when SW decided it wasn't free anymore. I must admit I was always surprised that it was.
I've been preparing the weightloss chart for this week, which sees the end of the monthly challenge, so maybe now is a good time to start the list for next month. Shall we make the end date Wednesday 29th August this time - that's exactly 4 weeks, and will take us to just after the Bank Holiday.
For anyone who's not familiar with how this works - I'll start the list with my username, if you want to join in the challenge, copy and paste it into a new message and add your name.
We have two challenges with the same goal, which is to lose weight - the overall aim is to lose 2 pounds a week, however as that would be hard to do every week, we also have the 5 pounds a month challenge - of course you can lose more than that if you want to!

Hi All,
Could anyone recommend a diet club?
I've been thinking of joining Slimming World as heard a few good reports. How much does it cost, is the on-line club as good as going to a proper club?
I'd love to hear what you old/current weights are and how much I can expect to lose per week.
I've heard about sins - what food/drink can you have with this?
I've had a nosey on the website but would prefer to hear real and honest opinions.
Thanks all :j
A bit of a belated reply to this one!
Id totally recommend WW - I LOVE it. Ive lost over 6 stones in 6 and a half months. It depends what you want tho, I know a lot of people cant be bothered counting points, its just become 2nd nature to me now tho.
I wont even start with the plusses for WW as I swear Im turning into a real diet bore lol but if theres anything you want to know about it while youre deciding what to do, just ask
Got my next weigh in later today, so fingers crossed
Hope everyone is doing well
Oh and Id like to do the Aug challenge:

Hey starlight!! I'd get 32 points, going by your worker-outer-er table, which seems generous. I'd imagine that I can get well stuck into some good stuff with that allowance?0

I want to give my weight loss a boost and was thinking of including more low GI foods but don't have a comprehensive list. I was wondering if any one could recommend a good breakfast. I don't like porridge and usually have cornflakes or shredded wheat both which are quite high. Any ideas please!!!0

Yes please: no loss this week
but no gain either
