hello all,
I read a lot - in other months. Typically the one month I join I get super busy at work!
NSDs on Wed, Thursday, Friday, resisted takeaway on Friday, got lift home from a good friend last night and so saved cab fare.
Money is super tight and this weekend is crazy expensive shopping wise. haircut, food shopping, have to buy a new hoover, and "house stuff before Mum returns.
Am decluttering but at the point where the mess is worse than it was when I started!
hope everyone is having a good Sunday XXNevertheless she persisted.0 -
No spending much at all this week as I have been looking after my poorly dd and dgc whilst her husband was as work and then I caught it! So a cheap week with very little spends, so every cloud has a silver lining.
Will work out totals when I feel more with it. Not eaten much the last couple of days so my storecupboard looks healthy.
Hope I feel better tomorrow as I am on holiday from work and would like a couple of cheap days out!

Just wanted to pop on here today as I am full of the joys of spring and super positive for a change! Must be effect of the sunshine
It is gloriously sunny here today and I have already finished the necessary school work for tomorrow and hung out the washing, so I am sat in the garden in my PJs and think I might actually get burnt if I stay here too long! The dogs are contentedly pottering around and loving the fresh air and lack of rain
At some point I'm going to drag myself back indoors and do a bit more decluttering. Just one kitchen cupboard to go but I need to keep revisiting my wardrobe as there are lots of things I should clear out but find it hard to do them all instantly. I find I need to go away, consider how little I wear them and then go back and declutter them. I don't want to throw away things I will want to wear again some day but there are many things that realistically I won't wear again.
Also paid the £41 I had leftover from last nights evening out off the ccard. Somehow my bank balance isn't balancing atm and I'm about £40 down so possibly have no money left for the rest of the month, which is quite relieving as it means I can turn down any social events
So for the rest of the day I aim to:
- declutter last kitchen cupboard
- mop kitchen floor
- declutter wardrobe
- walk dogs
- get ahead on a bit of lesson planning
- watch crufts
Hope you all have lovely sunny daysLBM = 07/09/13 Debt = £13339 (100% cleared)

made lots of freezer food yesterday (17 meals packed into freezer!) and out of interest I priced it up and it came to 97p per meal!!! pretty chuffed with that! Off to cook a banana cake soon to use up some old bananas and maybe 1 more freezer meal (a side dish really -some red cabbage) if I think I can squeeze any more into my freezer!!!! eek!

Wow – what a difference a beautiful sunny day makes to all of us! I am just sitting relaxing and letting my apple and sultana pancakes go down before having a run in the sun. DH is about to head out and do the first lawn mow of the year. House is reasonably in order, cats are sleeping in the sun and all feels well with the world!
Today should be a SFD and I will run and swim today so my totals should start to look a bit better, but I won’t add them till the day is done.

Afternoon, just back from my spa and came in under budget! £12.50 for the use of facilities and then £15 for breakfast, lunch AND afternoon tea! What a bargain! I also found £4.50 in my purse which I didn't know I had so that was a surprise.

Good afternoon everyone
Happy sunday!!! I saw loads of daffodils and cherry blossom when I was out earlier - dare we believe spring is on it's way? Ooh, I hope so!!! Everyone seems so much nicer in this weather, don't you think?
So, I'm having a really lazy day today, trying to catch a little snooze before working the night shift tonight.
Yesterday was my first spend-day of March!!! Hurrah, and since today will be a SFD, I've clocked up a huge 8 SFDs so far!! That will no doubt slow down over the next week as I need a proper supermarket shop ... and I need to defrost my freezer! Seriously, my freezer has been out of action for so long as it looks like it's full of snow! Plan: Defrost freezer, plan meals, buy food, batch cook, save moneySomewhere in there is find time to do all of the above! Anyone know where I could find an extra 24 hours
Even an extra 8 hours would do!
My food budget has been dented to the tune of around £12, leaving a healthy £88 for the next 3 weeks. My misc budget, although untouched, has been halved  I over calculated how much could be paid towards the debt, and as a result I left myself £50 short in my bank account. Hmm, the bills all need to be paid, so I had to take £50 out of the misc budget to cover the bills! Oh well, no nights out for me this month!
Other than my supermarket shop, my outgoings will be minimal for the next week, but I'm hoping my niece can visit me next week - anyone got suggestions for free/cheap things to do in London when you're pregnant (her, not me!!!).
Hoping the sunshine stays with us all week0 -
Hi all
I have had a lovely relaxing weekend with DH as both our Teenagers had a nights away with friends, i'd forgotten what peace and quiet was like ....Heavenly.
Anyway 3 days of spending for me ....Ouch! Hopefully a week of no spending ahead with LTW to redeem myself.

Hello, on SFD number 6 I think but don't know my total numbers. Well, they are duly noted but just on paper this month so far.
Had a kids party yesterday which was free and cancelled my girls night as I was too run down. Think my cold I had since Christmas turned into a chest infection again. So I'll phone the doctor tomorrow finally as I dread to go into labour in this state.
Cut DS hair this morning after he was mistaken for a girl yesterday, lol, and went to the park. Tomorrow, I might do some decluttering, baking and maybe get my Kohlrabi seedlings out in the soil.

Just checking in with SFD number 5
Managed my 'to do' list and I'm now watching Crufts before having an early nightI think I definitely run on solar power as today seemed so much more positive and all the jobs seemed easy and not at all overwhelming. Fingers crossed for some more bright weather and hopefully spring is here to stay.
