    Debt-free and Proud!
Traveller you would feel truly nauseous in my house then, my passport expired over a year ago and neither of the children have them!

Morning, a bit tired this morning after my second night working, clocked up an extra hour last night and am doing an extra hour tonight. All adds up!

Today will be SF, clocking up my third one so far. Done all my daily account checks so feel happy with what's going on there. Not much to report really!

Mine and Dh's passports expired in 2000 and the kids have never had one at all. I have no intention of going abroad for a long time, I just cannot see the value in the prices they charge now.

Today will be a SFD I hope, it has been raining here but seems to have stopped now so I will aim for another bike ride and a long walk.

Pizza night tonight and I am aiming to do the dough later then deliver all my Avon parcels before we have it, just to keep me going whilst I deliver them. Should have £36 from my Avon orders this time so that will be going in the holiday fund.

Just realisedxby the time we can afford to holiday abroad in a couple of years both my boys will need new passports :(

Having a good day, sold something on Gumtree last night and when they came round to collect this morning talked them into buying something else I hadn't got around to listing anywhere yet :D so that was£13 income this morning whilst working from home. Have another collection scheduled for this afternoon, another £7.50 - will maybe try and sell her some extra bits as well :rotfl:

Nearly finished work for the day so planning to go for a run with DH before picking the boys up from school.

Will be a SFD unless me and DH decide to buy a bottle of wine so quite possibly not a SFD after all, it has been a long week!!

A neighbour down the road has just had a baby so may make a lasagna or something to drop in, could be my favour??

  • Quick check in to report 2 SFDs banked and one more today.

Yesterday was a spendy day: some basic medicines; my ceramics class and yoga gloves. The last two are indulgences, but the ceramics class is much cheaper than the one I used to go to (£6 vs £15) and it makes me so happy! I hadn't been in a month, for various reasons, and it was really lovely to be back playing with clay again.

The yoga golves are a ploy to get me to do more yoga at home. In theory, they will allow me to do yoga on any surface without a mat, so can just pull them on an do it. We'll see if they work and it works!

I'm another that couldn't imagine not having a valid passport! I fly about once a month on average, all within the UK but I don't like the idea of flying on a driving license as pic looks nothing like me (just reminded me to check when it expires though!).

More travel expenses refunded today, tonight's accom is paid for already so just my meal out tonight to pay for. Currently looking for discount vouchers, so many not valid on a Friday...

Hi all! Today was a no spend day :T

Can I have some advice from the teachers on here please? My daughter is in her 1st year of A levels and she could do with some help in chemistry. I feel she just needs pointers on how to revise and go over topics if that makes sense and advice on how to get the most out of the syllabus. I'm looking at getting a tutor, short term, to aid her in this. What should I be looking for and can anyone recommend an agency or something? Thanks :)

Today at work I just could not focus at all. I so couldn't wait to go home :D On collecting my little man, he was telling me everyone has a football kit apart from him. I said no worries, we'll get you something tomorrow from M&S. Do they have arsenal kits in there he says  It looks like a trip to sports direct or failing that, a tug on his dads male pride to get a kit :D

Have a good weekend everyone :)

  • I'm a good girl! I'm a good girl *phew*

I just did a crazy basket for a takeaway but NO!!!!

I now have a scrummy tuna pasta bake bubbling in the fridge!!!!
I'm just so lazy at the moment - finding motivation is really tough :( but I did it cause I couldn't face NSK if we'd bought a takeaway!! :)

So - NSD today, and did my good deed - a poor old man fell off the curb as I walked past (I had nothing to do with it!) so I helped pick him up and hailed him a cab so he could get home and waited til he'd got into it safely. Made me feel quite sad afterwards about the frail man out on his own and what would have happened if people had ignored him - he was unable to get up on his own :(

    So glad its Friday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yay!
Got no plans for the weekend except spending no money!

    xx
