should i ring them on monday and ask what they are doing?
You clearly haven't read enough threads about Trev & ANPR Ltd yet if you think that's a good plan! I suggested this so you could learn what we know about them:

Try searching this forum for 'Trev' as a keyword, and 'ANPR-in-a-box' - the results will show you how bright this lot are.

there is so many threads on this site im confused lol. thank you for all the help and comments. i will send this letter below out to ANPR first thing monday morning with proof of posting and i will write and complain to BPA if i get any more or do not get a decision soon of them with a POPLA code on it.

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    PCN number

I write in response to your letter dated 00/00/2014 you sent me with the heading NOTICE OF INTENT.

Firstly I am not sure what you mean by intent as this case is under investigation as far as I am concerned and I don't take kindly to threats in any shape way or form if it is a threat.

At the bottom of your letter you sent it does state unless this incident is under investigation it will be passed on to a debt agency and that they will seek court orders to recover this debt but as this matter seems to be taking such a long time and I keep getting letters of you I don't know what your intentions are as I seem to be waiting a month every time to hear from you. If you agree that it is under investigation please stop sending letters out to me until you have a decision.

As far as I am concerned, I have made a valid challenge with this letter once again dated 00/00/2014 as well with the original letter sent out on the 00/00/2014.

If I do not receive a letter of you accepting my wishes to decline to pay your invoice or a rejection letter along with a POPLA code I will regard the challenge as accepted and the matter closed.

With this letter I have also enclosed the original letter I sent to you on the 00/00/2014 which I have also got proof of posting and it was a recorded delivery as well which means someone in your company had to sign for it in person.

    Yours,

Did you actually send your letter 'Signed For' (aka Recorded Delivery)? If so your receipt from the PO will have a code on it you can check, via the PO website, that the letter was signed for and by whom.

Now PPCs are known not to sign for such letters and if this has been the case here you will not have the confirmation from the PO website - hence oor Trev has the inverse proof that he did not 'receive' it.

This is why we advise not to do 'Signed For', but just to get a free Cert of Posting from the PO, as you then have the proof it was sent, and all sent mail is deemed delivered 2 days after posting. See the subtle difference?
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Of course you must - you don't have to prove it! You didn't need to send it signed for so no-one here normally has a receipt for the letters they send ANPR Ltd.

Just send an email to Steve Clark (email address in the NEWBIEs sticky thread post #6) stating your situation and that ANPR Ltd have not responded to your appeal nor sent you a POPLA code and you are tearing your hair out over their incompetence.

thank you <<< coupon-mad >>> i'm just checking to see if this is ok to send to steve clark. i have also put my name and address on the top of it and included dates and pcn number

    Dear Steve Clark

I would like to take a moment of your time to complain about ANPR LTD and their incompetence and to see if there is any help you can offer me.

The so called pcn number is ###########

ANPR Ltd have not responded to my appeal nor sent me a POPLA code and I am tearing my hair out over their incompetence as the stress this is causing is unwanted by me and my family and unnecessary.

Below is a list of events and I would also like to point out that I don't think it is fair to add more money on to the invoice like they have done on the ##/##/14 when it has been under appeal since the ##/##/14.

ANPR LTD = ##/##/14 = Outstanding parking notice letter sent to me

APPEAL = ##/##/14 = My appeal letter sent

ANPR LTD = ##/##/14 = Final demand letter sent to me + £40 added to invoice ?

ANPR LTD = #/##/14 = Notice of intent letter sent to me

I will be sending my appeal letter to them again tomorrow (##/##/14) to see if I can get some sign of life out of them.

I will be thankful of any help you can offer
and I am also thankful of you taking the time
    to read this email

ANP LTD = ##/##/14 = Warning notice to driver given
Get rid of that bit above, you are appealing as the keeper and the first you knew of it was the letter in the post of course. You should not refer to the parking event, what happened or the windscreen PCN.

Also change the name of the firm to 'ANPR Ltd' and finish by saying 'I am also thankful of you taking the time to read this email' (because you are not posting him a letter).
