Actually been flying today. Just had lunch and now I'm getting back to it before my GUAG goes again. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0

I've framed myself and sorted a kitchen hotspot, some more laundry and binned some stuff out of the airing cupboard and emptied the recycling bin.
Just having a coffee, expect kiddies will be back soon.Bossymoo

Lurker here. Just had to pop in to comment on this. I know... I should be catching up on Fred but...Mummyof5:
my son has problems at school...currently being tested for ADHD etc..he was naughty on WEd and got told off...he has a very bad temper so said he was gong to run away from school and walk home...about 25 mins on main roads...
due to him saying this the head refused to take him on the school trip Thursday.
Do you feel this was a bit of a gut reaction? Was he going to attend the trip initially? You mention that he is being assessed for ADHD currently so school are aware that he has needs and would or should have planned support for these.
I agree with the other posters that you would probably worry about him but a 'reasonable adjustment' (Equality Act 2010) might have been to ask you to go along to support him. Schools do use parent helpers.
I would consider asking the head what future plans would be put in place for your son as he cannot go through school being excluded from trips. Is he placed on the SEN register at school? I would presume so if he possibly has ADHD. Are they supporting his needs? Does he have interventions/strategies to help him deal with his outbursts?
Sorry if I have gone on a bit but I work with kids with special needs and disabilities.:oDe cluttering Konvert.Getting there

Argh. Kids have come back in terrible moods. I've just sent them both to bed
DD has whinged non stop, asked for something to eat then cried when I put it in front of her, specifically what she asked for  and DS was told to stop messing around, next thing, his is all over the bl00dy floor. So sadly I flipped, shouted at them to get out of my sight (they both scarpered upstairs).
I cleaned it all up then went and put their pjs on in silence. By the time I'd done DS, DD was already asleep
Argh.
I feel so angry. They are having nothing nice until they can learn some table manners.
Argh.
And relax....Bossymoo

Oh dear Bossy, not what you needed. I hope they wake up in sunnier moods.
DH has undermined my disciplining of the 2 oldest boys. They treat me like dirt because they follow the lead from their Father. I feel so let down by DH. We haven't been on good terms for 2 weeks and I have nothing further to say to him. We are supposed to be going out tonight. I hope he stays home as I'm not putting on a show of happy families when I don't want to be in the same room as him.
I went to my monthly cake decorating class last night. Very pleased with the result pic will be on FB Monday for DD's birthday.
I've sorted a hotspot (top of my chest of drawers). I've been brutal and flung loads.
I've coloured my hair and painted my nails for tonight. I feel really low so I hope a night with my friends lifts me a bit. Spa day tomorrow with my 3 SIL. Right now I'd rather stick pins in my eyes than spend time with them but I've paid for it and don't want to lose the money. I'll take my iPod and pretend to sleep to avoid their b1tchy character assassinations of everyone they know.
I'm going to put the ironing away now.0 -

It's official - I HATE DOING HOUSEHOLD ACCOUNTS!!:wall::wall::wall:
We just had our first bill from the evil bods who have taken over our broadband and landline from Oh Two, and it's taken me best part of an hour to make sense of exactly what they were billing us for.
I need a stiff whisky!:beer:If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
THANKS EVERYONE,he was supposed to be going on the trip..I had paid and everything...the result now is I have offered to go on all trips with him till at least things are in place for him...Im sick of ringing the hospital trying to chase up his appointment..he was referred by school last October, hes had 1 lot of speech therapy and goes for that again on 19th March...he can talk fine its for context???
Bradie was very happy to stay behind ,he coloured Minecraft pics all afternoon..I was far more upset by it than him
He apologised to all teachers concerned and said he never meant what he said he was just angry which is what I thought anyway...If she had told me all this the night before I could have arranged to go with him but apparently she was too busy in the office.
Flying I have dried 1 load of washing outside..all folded...another in machine
Dw done
Shopping done

Hello all. I've not been posting but have lurked a bit so I hope everyone is ok. I've only done minimal flying this week as the paid stuff has been manic, but each room has had some attention so I'm happy with that, and I have nice clean sheets to sleep in.
Today, I've had a headache all day so no flying whatsoever, but DH has been brilliant. He's moved furniture, hoovered, put pictures up and popped to the shops.
I need to get myself back to resembling a human now as we've tickets to go out tonight.
Have a great evening.Spend less now, work less later.0
