good for you masonic.
as i said above, i am working on the basis that my fairly simple portfolio of funds & shares in my ISA, and single fund in my SIPP will eventually all arrive at iii.co.uk and that they will be safe & easily managed with them, and all at decent value.
fortunately, this transfer period hasn't been one during which i have wanted to make changes to my portfolio. if i had done it could have been a disaster.0 -
Anyone had their 31 Jul/1 Aug divis yet?0

Anyone had their 31 Jul/1 Aug divis yet?
Nope only four out of my 17 dividends have been paid out this month. All were due on the 31/July. I had a couple turn up on the 1st Aug, but nothing since.
This weekend I am going to setup an account with AJ Bell, buy a couple of income paying funds, and see if they turn up on time. If they do, I will be looking to move at some point.0 -
I almost fainted, £500s worth of dividends due 31st July appeared in my account on 12st Aug. No sign of a couple of other dividends that were due though.
I noticed sometimes they can get a couple on the 1st before the big rush, then after that they can't cope, and it then takes weeks before you can anything else. Last month the latest one took 22 days after payout date to be paid.0 -
Do the dividends eventually get paid or is it necessary to chase them?0

I think some of the posters here must be using a different iii to the one I use. For me dividends are always transferred to my bank account about 3 days after the payment date and take a few days after that to appear in my bank statement.
Note that automatic payout of dividends to an external account only applies to payments of more than £25 (or possibly £30).
I have just checked the latest United Utilities dividend. The payment date according to ADVFN was 1st August. This is the same date iii have on my statement, which shows payment out on 4th August. My bank statement records it as credited on the 8th August.0 -
Maybe you do not have funds with them. Mine are funds and I never get paid at the correct time.0
