However, a dividend payment due on the 1st. August is showing in my husband's account today

You raised my hopes but they have been cruelly dashed :( - on logging in to my account I find that a payment due 31 July has still not materialised- only another seven working days to go before yet another phone call - seems quicker than sending a secure message which could wait five days for an answer!:rotfl:

    Here's another funny one:
I complained 3 months ago that they accidentally credited double the amount of units into one of my funds. Two weeks ago the incorrect units disappeared. All good I thought. Today when I logged in, the units had magically re-appeared! Maybe iii really, really wants to give me the £25K which the units are worth? :rotfl:

As mentioned above, I too am trying hard but without success to give them back their money. They doubled four of my funds and after two calls and two weeks they have managed to correct one of them.
  • Whilst I am still waitng for a few funds that I arranged transfer of from HL in March, and for a transfer into the wrong account to be sorted out I have at last had an explanation.

'They (transfer team) have spoken with HL who have apologised for sending a partial valuation for both your Trading & ISA Accounts. As we did not have record of all stocks to be transferred this has delayed the process. HL have arranged to send the full valuations to our Transfers team today.' So it was all HL's fault after all. I shall contact HL to see if they will apologise to me. Amazing that it has taken months to establish this.

"Due to the nature of your secure message we are treating this as a complaint" Too XXXXX right:mad:! Me calling it a complaint, being very direct and firm, and threatening them with 'The authorities may have given them a clue!

II are even looking at my request for compensation. I'll believe it when I see it (certainly not if they say it will be with me in 3 days:rotfl:).

Yeah, I wouldn't count on it. My wife has been waiting for her £100 compensation nearly 2 weeks now.

Surely by now you've learned not to expect it to be paid into the correct account. ;)

Ahh, yes, I should have checked my account first... :D;)
  • My wife and I are now also five months into the ISA transfer process. Cofunds sent me confirmation directly when funds were re-registered from Best Invest (used Cofunds not the BI platform) to III - so it was simply a change of agent effectively nothing needed to leave the Cofunds platform. Even with this scenario - nearly two months later I have about 40% of my holdings 'missing' -they were clearly not prepared for the volume; an absolute shambles.

III has today confirmed that they have received my transfer instruction for my cash ISA. They have given me their standard timeframe of 8 weeks for the transfer and also pointed out many transfers are being delayed due to high volumes. However, this is a cash ISA, so I will be expecting them to complete it in 14 days and complaining if it takes any longer.
So this morning I logged in and my cash transfer to II has arrived in my account. It took 8 days in total. What a refreshing difference between this and my in specie transfer, which took 12 weeks.

I guess they were concentrating all their resources on doing that for you instead of processing my outstanding divis! :p
