They have dealt with queries on the current year subscriptions well but the transfer from HL is painfully slow.
Hopefully we will see some benefit for our extra £200 but I am beginning to wonder if I should have stuck with HL after they offered me the 0.25% rate.
Don't necessarily believe that you can actually buy all the funds they seem to offer. I tried to set a regular investment in one fund only to find that it was soft closed and so not actually available after all !
I've pretty much lost faith in Hargreaves Lansdown, I've had several calls with them where I told them I was planning to leave and they seemed to virtually shrug their shoulders; no attempt to make me stay and no offers. As it happens 0.25% with no cap would be no good for me anyway, as the effective rate I will be paying with Trustnet Direct will be less than half that (even with the additional £200 over iii). Given that I have a relatively substantial holding with HL, I would have thought they might have made at least a token effort to keep me as a customer.0 -
...for example Trustnet Direct have SWIP Foundation Growth B Acc as an option (OCF 0.09%) whereas this fund isn’t available through III (at least that’s what they told me).koru0

Looks available: http://www.iii.co.uk/investing/factsheet/0MEW
That's new, I'm sure it wasn't there a month ago. It says ISA "no" but I've seen this before on the III funds fact sheets and when I've questioned it, I've been told that it was a mistake and they are available for an ISA.0 -
They will sometimes add funds on request - they have done so for me in the past. So perhaps someone requested this one. I know for a fact that it was there on 25 April.koru0

II have messaged me to tell that me that my transfer is complete. they dont tell me whether this is the Trading/ISA/SIPP account, and say that I can login to find out. but none of them are entirely with II so far:think:0

I think a lot of discount brokers seem to have relatively poor websites, guess they are cheap for a reason!0 -

An OEIC for my ISA
Annoying thing is they told me it had gone through on the 20th and gave some BS about not getting the price back. It is valued 10am daily.
In this case I didn't lose out anything, but yes a concern. I am left wondering do I complain.0 -
has anyone been buying a selling shares with II? and if so, how quickly are they trading?0
