my Royal London Sterling Extra Yield Bond

The relative was waiting for this as well and put in a complaint about the non-arrival - it has now arrived!

According to II, the reason for the late payment was due to their not having received the payment, possibly because it was "a stock classed as a foreign stock and might require conversion into sterling" and then they would require to process (manually) the payment into client accounts "which could require up to ten working days".

But, the distributions are paid in sterling?

Was the money received late from FNZ? (By the way, have you seen

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/69222666#Comment_69222666 )?

The relative has the B Inc class within the ISA - no tax reclaim on this but has received them on other holdings, although is now checking whether others are due....oh dear, this is becoming a pain.....

And heaven only knows what the answer is about the rebates.

I can't even get any action from them about the inability to transfer my child's CTF.

What do they say the problem is?
  • My tax reclaim issue is not with the Royal London Sterling Extra Yield, it is Invesco Perpetual Monthly Income Plus. Their explanation for the late dividend payment sounds imaginative to say the least.....

My FOS complaint about missing tax credits has hit a stumbling block. A couple of weeks ago the FOS wrote to me to let me know "We have now asked the business to send us the information they have about this complaint so we can look into what has happened. Once we receive this, one of our adjudicators can begin to investigate" (my emphasis).

This seems like quite an unfair request to make of II, who probably have no electronic records of their own. They will probably have to state that they cannot comply with the request due to their not having received the information. Perhaps they will need to engineer some information - a manual process which they do not have any timeframe for completing, but will naturally do so as quickly as possible.

Perhaps I spoke too soon. Just logged in and lo and behold a tax reclaim has been credited to my account this afternoon. From the value, it appears to be from the dividend paid on 28th November 2014. Must be a coincidence it arrived in my account less than a month after escalating my complaint to the FOS.

I have been told by Peter Whittle in their complaints department that the consolidated tax vouchers will be made available by the end of September and certainly no later than 5th October 2015....let's see what happens......apparently the team has been working on the tax vouchers since April and when completed will move on to 'conversion to clean units'......what a mess!

well, not got mine yet, and not much time left this month.

They don't seem to try to sort things out.

interesting to read how you are getting on with your complaints..

i still have ISA and SIPP with iii..largely because i wasn't sure where else to move to. i have allocated some new ISA funds to a friendly society, but have wanted to retain some shares which are sat in my iii ISA and have a fund in my iii SIPP which i am comfortable with. with everything else going on i haven't got round to transferring out of iii:undecided

Quick update to my complaint... I've received a letter from iii today stating that they've upheld my complaint. I can expect to receive the other missing tax reclaim at the beginning of October and as I've already referred the complaint to the FOS, I'll hear back from them shortly regarding compensation.
  • Hi,

    are things getting better?

Got my quarterly fund rebate yesterday, and they took their quarterly fee.
