Well......secure messages now promptly answered and I had received all dividends due end May/early June by 18 June.

What I found interesting is that II advise that they received the IPD and IPGD dividends on 9 June (which would indicate that FNZ had hung on to them for several days) and then II for several days after that......

    It's that old time accounting.....:)

Finally received Newton Asian Income today. Strange that it took nearly a week longer to pay me than Julia…

Like xylophone I can report that my secure messages have been promptly answered, and other than the above fund my dividends have been arriving within ten working days over the last few months, so service does seem to be slowly heading in the right direction…

....and your relative is clearly one of the elite as they received Newton Asian Income way before I did!!

If you had asked me last month, Jennifer, I would have said III were improving, but this month they have been worse than ever. 5 dividends were paid very late, (one that had not been late before) and 2 are still outstanding that were due 31st May. They are no longer answering their messages promptly, it is back to the previous nonsense, and being fobbed off again. They have basically today sent me the same message that they sent on 9th June about these dividends, saying they are passing the information to their dividends team to investigate. I told them that they have been 'investigating' them since 8th June and that if I don't receive a satisfactory response in the next couple of days I will be involving Julie Baxter. I have had enough of being fobbed off.

Up to yesterday anyway, one of the relatives was waiting for an overdue F&C dividend...... apparently the date of receipt of this particular one is a very variable feast.....

Relative finally wrote to enquire about the overdue dividend - in their reply, II apologised for the "oversight" that had caused the delayed payment - the clerk dropped his quill and turned over two pages in the ledger by mistake?:D

Same thing happened to me with one of my November dividends. Chased it up in Jan, as I had been too busy over Christmas & New Year, plus of course they would have been closed for a lot of days.

Received it with apologies middle Jan - they had forgotten me!

I’ve never not received a dividend eventually, and they are always correct. So I’m taking a much more relaxed approach now. Won’t even be looking for my June payments for a couple of weeks. If they turn up sooner, it’s a bonus!;)

I can understand this attitude in order to save your sanity - however it can't be right for III to also be relaxed about when or whether they pay you.
If any other financial provider took their attitude there would be a public enquiry and the Sunday Papers would be on fire.
