It gets addictive Igamogam, doesn't it? I'm well happy, especially with the space being cleared in my flat.
I've just found something else to sell too after a good long chat with my landlord. He has no interest in keeping the furniture that's stored in his basement, told me he wanted to get rid of it, so I suggested he sell it. He then said if I want to sell it I can keep whatever cash I make.
Fabby!!
So, I now have a 2 seater chesterfield style sofa and matching armchair to go on gumtree. Will need to dig it out of the basement and take some photos.
And I'll have a basement I can actually store things in. Yey!!If you know you have enough, you're rich.0 -

Hi there in need of direction :-)
Yes I think the trip is becoming more manageable by the second. I'm so pleased!
I just added another 2 items to gumtree since I'm on a roll. Let's see how they do.If you know you have enough, you're rich.0 -
Well, since I'm still off work sick and lying around with not much to do, I thought I'd have a read through my old diary on here 'Tales from a Country Cottage'. I figured it might give me some inspiration. But oh my goodness, did it teach me a thing or two?
First lessons learned:- I consistently forget to pay off the highest interest debts first. Need to keep that in mind.
- When I have pots for money and petrol, separate from the DD bills account, I feel very much more in control of my cash. I need to set these up again.
- I paid off my Cap 1 card before with a 0% transfer and because I didn't close the account (and I have been a little out of control) it got wracked up again.
- I use credit cards as emergency fall back and this needs to stop. I have to build up a stash to cover this so I can safely close CC accounts once they're paid.
- Paying off debt is doable. I did it before and can do it again.

I hope so Igamogam, I'm still waiting on that letter from uni saying I'm a f/t student, then I can start chasing up that £3k interest free student overdraft.
