Also, last time it was due I paid my tv license outright (on a credit card, lol!) and it will be needing renewed at some point just no idea when.
I agree with Igamogam, DD is the way to go.
If you haven't paid by DD before you can set one up, it's usually about £29 per month for 6 months and then £12.50 per month after that.
They like you to get ahead by 6 months.
You can also pay quarterly but there is £5 extra charged.
You can also pay by card at Payzones weekly or fortnightly.
If you want monthly DD the sooner you ring them to set it up the less months you have to pay £29.0 -
Hope all OK with you Ani

Just dropping in to wish you........... Blywddyn Newydd Dda

Well hello again everyone
How are you all doing? Igamogam, Misstara, INOD? I need to catch up on your diaries, it's been ages, I hope everything's going well for you all.
I've been awol for a while and have no excuse other than that I've been extremely busy...falling in love. :blushing: Happy days! And having just totted up my debt total and updating my signature, it seems that I've managed to stay well on track with debt repayments. It's lower than it's been in years. :j As usual though, there is much to do in speeding up this process and I have had no focus on it recently. So I'm back, with a clearer head than I have had recently and a new resolve to get that debt paid down faster.
I've missed you all! It's so nice to be back!If you know you have enough, you're rich.

I am about to move in with my OH which is seriously exciting but is going to require some financial outlay. It also requires a new budget which I will post up here once it's done for all you good people to make suggestions about. But that will happen after the move.
In the meantime I need to find £700 for a deposit. £625 of that will be returned to me from my current flat deposit, but I need the outlay first and I just don't have it.
What to do?
My debt is currently over 3 credit cards and an overdraft, all of them low or no interest and all of them maxed out. There is no chance of borrowing money from myself at all. Which is a good thing really.
There are 2 more wages due before the move. I could take £350 per month from my wage but that would leave me not quite enough to live on. In fact, nowhere close to enough to live on.
I need to get innovative in pulling this cash together. Once I move, and my old deposit is returned, I can pay it off a credit card so really, this is a quickie challenge that is possibly going to hurt in the short term but will end up with the debt going down considerably.
Hhmm, where to start? If you know you have enough, you're rich.

Hello stranger! How are the studies/work going?
It's all going well, seriously hard work but lots of fun too. I can't believe I'm already half way through! I was glad to read on your diary that the debt busting is going well, and the never ending decluttering. I've been doing a lot of that too and more to come as I get ready for the move.in_need_of_direction wrote: »Good to hear from you. Don't. Good to hear form you two too! I'm so pleased you're all still around.
I don't know what to say on here about OH except that those internet dating sites I mentioned before were a load of rubbish! Me and OH met the old fashioned way, through a chance encounter at a local group and then, well, took it from there!
Life is pretty darned good right now! :rotfl:
Oh it's so nice to be back!If you know you have enough, you're rich.

I have just kicked off the 'moving in with OH' fund by selling an old pair of skis for a tenner.

Only £690 to go!
p.s. I will go easy on the exclamation marks in the next post or two, I'm just a bit excited right now.
