The admin fee cost me £20 which I thought was not too bad.

Mr Amp-buyer is messing me around. He's on his last chance to pick this thing up or I'm putting it in the bin.
I'm planning to get a lift to work tomorrow with a pal. Still feeling a bit rough, had a bad cold all week and tired, tired, tired this weekend. So far, after 3 days car-free, walking to work when you're a wee bit under the weather is the only negative. I've barely noticed the car is gone but it's still early days.
Onwards with the debt busting.

Well I still have this amp sat here. I'm fuming. What's wrong with people they say they're going to buy something and then don't? I won't put it in the bin. Might sell it another time.

I walked to work and back yesterday. It was a beautiful sunny day and I enjoyed it very much. :T
It's payday tomorrow and I don't have the £20 in the bank I was expecting. I have £2.47. What with this mistake and the amp not selling my slush fund is non-existent. Oh dear.
Onwards to another day.
If you know you have enough, you're rich.

Payday has arrived. I made my £300 overpayment to the debt, I'll be taking out £150 cash for food and travel, and the remaining money in my account will cover all the bills and regular debt payments.
Operation 'increase the slush fund' starts here. It's going to have to cover any fun things I want to do and also Christmas.
That guy is still contacting me about my amp. I don't know what to do. I want to tell him to go away, he's messed me about enough, but I really want to sell it too. Any ideas anyone? If you know you have enough, you're rich.

I'm also thinking about making a little chart for the next 12 months of paying off this credit card. It's going to be a hard challenge and maybe colouring in boxes, drawing a graph, whatever, will help me stay motivated. I could stick it on my pin board in the kitchen and look at every day and think how well I'm doing.
Igamogam, I'm copying your ideas.

You were quick of the mark with the repayment. Well done. Re the amp, I'd just ask what his issue is. It could be that he's waiting for money and trying to buy time. In which case, agree a cut off point.Mortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 11st 12lb determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes. I just calculated that once my payments have all gone out on the 1st of September, my debt will fall to £15,982.5. So under £16k.
If I wasn't motivated before then I certainly am now. Result!
The challenge now is to stick to the budget for the month. If you know you have enough, you're rich.
