HI, Starting May as I have not yet got round to doing my shop so when I do most of it wll be for May. Budget will be £400 again.
This months goal is to start to batch cook - I do tend to put lo's in the freezer but there is only ever 1 portion which doesn't last long so thinking to make my life easier and more organised I am going to give it a go. Just need to find some nice reciepe's now, am thinking casseroles and pasta sauce to start - always a bit nervouse of reheating though.
Need a big shop today or tomorrow, trying to think if I have anything in that I can eeak tea out of and so I can do the shop tomorrow - at work and my brain isn't working too wellJune GC Budget - 310/400

First day of my May challenge today, and as expected my pay didn't go in the bank so enforced NSD.
Had toast for breakfast and am just about to heat up a leftover bratwurst for lunch and will have chicken breast from freezer with lemon butter rice and brocolli for evening meal.
Hope I get paid tomorrow!Jane

Starting May today with a budget of £220 again this month, but hoping to spend less as there is LOADS in the freezer & cupboards, plus this month is a shorter one than I gave us last month! This is for 2 adults and to include all food & cleaning products but not toiletries as we buy those ourselves.
Did a HUGE Ald* shop today! spent £70.29 (would have been £75.29 but had the voucher from the paper) but £20 of that was on booze!! DH wanted to try the own brand lager and bitter, I fancied a bottle of wine, got some Amaretto and finally saw the Austins summer drink after hearing so many talk about it (I'm a relative newbie to Ald*!) so got a bottle of that-looking forward to trying that on a warmer day!!
Also stocked up on their frozen chips and wedges-I know wedges are easy to make but we've just discovered their 59p frozen wedges and love them! Got LOADS of tins as well, as well as washing liquid so we are fairly well stocked for the month now!MFW 2016 #32 £1574.66/£1500:j:j0 -
Hello, i have fallen off the wagon badly, but am back up ready for May!

Lots subs. 2 wrong items and because thet didnt have one of the items in a multibuy I have been charged full whack rather than offer. Went ti mr l first and bought all fruit n veg from there as I find quality better than asdo but I dont like mr l meat.
Anyway a done and packed away. Apart from getting milk n veg next week I shouldnt need anything for 2 weeks now. Oh apart from minced turkey. Asdo thought a good sub would be diced turkey.....
