Thanks to everyone who made loo roll suggestions (I'm not sure how to link you all, but meg72, cw18, lynnejk and chi-mi, thanks everso. :):) Hope I haven't missed anyone!) Some of the shops aren't over this part of the country (no costco forexample), but I'll give the others a go when I'm next passing (I live in the sticks so will check out when I'm near those shops). :) Bought some cheap loo rolls from sainsburys to tide me over but they're not very good :(

Stocked up on some other bits like cereal and baked beans taking me £122.12 Then DD decided to leave (full!) pot of fish food on table and the dogs chewed the pot and ate the food  am hoping it doesn't disagree with their digestion! Plus another £8.28 to replace it, so now off to update signature to £130.40

Looking at meal plans for this week, I should be able to manage without spending very much so onwards and upwards :)

Glad to see the back of April - went way over most of my budgets but more so on my food shopping....

Please can you put me down for £300.00 for the month on MAY to start 1st May.

I have opened a separate back account where I will put in £300 over this month so once its gone its gone.

Hoping to have 10 no spends days this month....

    Have a great month folks

Off to total up April spends

I need to do this, as I shop mostly online. Don't know why i didn't think to do it much sooner, as I kept reading about people putting money in a second purse/envelope/money bag; but couldn't think how to replicate it virtually. Think I will pop in the bank today and do just that ready for payday. The only thing is, do they give you a debit card does anybody know, as I need one if i'm doing it online?

New Baby, how exciting. :j I was doing exactly the same thing this time last year, now I am busy trying to plan a double birthday for my boys on a very strict budget - the eldest will be 3 and the youngest will be 1 - it is both of their birthdays on Friday 2nd so only a few days. Not organized at all! I have told 3 yr old he will not get the same present this year as he did last year (new baby.) lol. x Asda shop is coming tomorrow spent around £80  but have taken advantage of the baby offer and stocked up on a months worth of nappies and wipes. And it does include birthday party bits as well so not too bad over all but does leave us tight for the month. x

First day of my month. Done big asdo shop and am less than pleased as I do click n collect. Lots subs. 2 wrong items and because thet didnt have one of the items in a multibuy I have been charged full whack rather than offer. Went ti mr l first and bought all fruit n veg from there as I find quality better than asdo but I dont like mr l meat.

Anyway a done and packed away. Apart from getting milk n veg next week I shouldnt need anything for 2 weeks now. Oh apart from minced turkey. Asdo thought a good sub would be diced turkey.....

    Had a NSD yesterday :j

We went to the pub but OHs dad bought us each a coffee, then we went home and had HM falafels.

OH wanted to go out for dinner but I pointed out that next weekend we're going out twice for his birthday (to very expensive places!) and we had a lovely evening cuddled up on the sofa with a bottle of wine :D

Hoping for a NSD today, as we stocked up yesterday, and the next shop should be a 'once a month' one at Aldi, planning to get a months worth of items - cat litter (£1.80 compared to Mr T's £3.99, same quality!), some cheap beer, fake brand crisps and some free range eggs. Rest of the shopping for this month should be at Mr T's.
