Kinda off topic, but it has to do with food, so not completely.

I had 11 grapefruits. I now have 10. I've learned two important things this morning. One, a grapefruit contains about a cup of juice. Second, I do not like grapefruits.

I've dumped the one cup of juice I got from the one grapefruit earlier into the remainder of my super strong limeade. It's barely helping, and it's full of sugar! Any suggestions on how I can keep from wasting them?

Won't be much of a waste, granted. They were 4p each from Mr. T, but I still don't want to waste them.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi everyone,

    Budgets done to here :)

    Welcome/welcome back to:
    Tink_04, ani*fan, hettiecarro, JellyBox, Doris65, JoJoC, deepindoodoo, daffodil29, CAFCGirl, ClaireT13, xacesx, and Lotti1982 :D

    Good luck all.

I am officially joining the April GC today as DH's new job pays on 25th of the month. Keeping it simple.....

Spent £9.84 in Tesco on ingredients for DDs food tech lesson. She is making cereal bars and needed dried fruit, nuts etc. So expensive  Also went to Costco this morning with DS2 (whose teacher is on strike) and spent £66.56. This included pork chops and sausages plus brioche/crumpets drinks etc. to (hopefully) last the month.

Dinner tonight is chicken curry with rice and naan. Tomorrow is DH's birthday and he is running Scouts so his signature pasta dish will need to wait until Friday. We will have pork chops with potatoes and veg. Will probably go to Aldi tomorrow to get other bits and bobs for the week.

Raining here (boo). Hope all are well.

    Hi All.
I have just realised that I have not included the fact me and OH are hosting mothering sunday lunch at our house for both our parents - thought we best not leave the dad's out :rotfl: So I am going to be a little naughty and add an extra £20.00 on to my budget this month to include the extra food for Sunday. So I am now in for £220.00.
Food shop day tomorrow so just doing my meal plan & food list!
Christmas is the most magical time of the year :santa2:
