I've not been on this site for over a year. I've got myself into a great deal of debt since I was here last. I'm hoping that I can rectify this by following all your wise choices.
I need to find the May '14 Grocery Challenge page, but so far have failed to locate it. I would be very grateful if anyone could point me in the right direction please?
Thanking you in anticipation,
Samantha22

I'm still here until the 6th ....anybody else? It was meant to be the 9th ( payday); but i don't think i can stretch out a big shop until then, so have one coming on Tuesday ( Mr T offering £10 off £70 shop). This should start us off for the month, but may be moving house on the 26th of next month, so not sure how the GC is going to go in May. Not done well in April, and still four days to go.
Had a small spend today, needed rocket, milk, and a few other bits.
Will update when i find the receipt, think it was about £4.

More spends today on Ys baguettes for Dd (£1.14); as got sent home from work early and she'd not eaten tea at this point, as being playing out. Also grabbed some cans, as havent had a Friday night off in forever. I now remember why grocery shopping is higher when you drink - £5 spent on eight cans of BB Gaymers pear cider.GC Jan £101.91/£150 Feb £70.96/150 Mar £100.43/150 Apr £108.45 app/150 May £149.70/150 Jun £155.15/150 July £75.94/£150 (includes food, toiletries and cleaning from 13th to 12th of each month. Ooops! Just realised I missed a £14 spend from my budget - on 27th I bought a W0wcher for a food hamper, but didn't add it to my s/sheet at the time. Only realised now because I need to redeem it today/tomorrow !!
Still came in well under budget though, with spends of £136.35 from a budget of £236.30Cheryl0
