So I did my last shop of the month today. I had a voucher but didn't didn't need much- milk, veg, fruit, meat for sandwiches. So I shopped for next week! I got a months supply of cereal, wine and stocked up on wipes and swim nappies. I am putting the surplus on next month's budget. I know I shouldn't do this every month but my house is so well stocked up with food, and cleaning products I could start my own shop! Going to make next weeks shop as small as possible and try and save my bigger shops for when I have a voucher. This means leaving enough money in the budget for a bigger shop at the end of the month!!!!Grocery challenge-

Needed a few top up bits yesterday, OH insisted on coming with me to get some inspiration for livening up his lunches. Cue a big spend of £16.24. I'm adding another £1 to this as they didn't have any milk in, so I'll have to pop out this afternoon for that.
So £126.22/£180 spent - but I will have one more weekly shop to do before my month end.We Made-it-3 on 28/01/11 with birth of our gorgeous DD.0 -

Last shop of the month for me too today and sadly am going to miss my target, have overspent as we went away last week and had a few too many treats, took grandchildren away to filey for a week so spent extra on sweets, ice creams etc, but kids all enjoyed themselves and it was lovely to be with them for a whole week though will need another week to recover so declaring £227.00 for the month of April, and am going to think about May tomorrow!!!SPC No. 295 - SPC No10 target £350
