Evening all, I've been amazing at this during April, total spends came in at £208.92! Yipeee.

Again £170 in Costco this week to restock freezer with meat/fish/veg n stuff.
Cats have had far too much money spent on them... litter, Catsan, that will change when this big bag runs out. It stinks quicker than the wood based tesco one. Wish they would eat cheaper too, but they wont, and get thin in protest!

Budget for May will be £250. I hope to come nowhere near it as my head will be in my psych books ready for my OU exam beginning of June. EEEEK too scary

I have added my spends to my signature and I am amazed to be able to say we came in at £340/£400. So I'm declaring at that for this month.

I was doing well and all set to come under budget, until DS needed cooking items for school which meant an extra trip to the nearest shop which is Sburys. I got 3 lovely pieces of half price YS meat (leg of lamb, pork and beef joints), so that, plus the weekly shop tonight in Ald! of £12.54 has taken me just over budget and up to £125.82 - that's my total for April too.

See everyone on the May thread and I hope I do better. :)

    Morning!!
Already over my budget but I dont mind because I probably wouldnt have done this well 4 months ago :D..bought ham last night to prepare a sandwich for bf who is on a field trip today (on the off chance he is going to buy less food once out). I made myself sandwiches for work as well. £2.39 to add to signature.
Last day and I don't think anything else will be spent today, however, I will update officially tomo morning!

    Have a good day!!
  • Definitely went over budget this month with the final grocery shop and a meal out, taking me to a total of £201.91 :O This was partly due to my OH being at home more than I expected, partly due to the increased spend needed for the Ald! vouchers and partly due to not planning meals very well, BUT my cupboards are well stocked now so hopefully I'll do better next month...
