I received a phone call a couple of months ago from Marks and Spencer as I hadn't activated their new credit card Money&More and was offered 500 points, £5, if I activated it over the phone. This I did as I would have got round to doing so eventually and got £5 of their vouchers to use.

I have still never actually used it and today got a letter from them saying if I use it just once before 31 May they will send me a £10 gift voucher.

I will of course use it just the once instore on a sandwich just to get the £10 voucher!

Hi Edinburghlass, I'm new (yesterday), to the boards (in general, never been on one till Fri last).
Onward, being a Manc I am too thick to work out whether you got the M&S Card "In Store", or did you get a mailshot app form? Sounds like a free tenner too me. Would you let me know. Just started the, Derned good "Card Shuffle", might make a new p/t job out of the game. lol ???

I have just applied online for the Unison card and the message at the end said that unfortunately, they couldn't give me an instant decision and that my application would be looked at by a 'trained credit advisor'.

Sounds rather sinister, as my credit rating is fine. Did other people have this or were you given an instant decision?

::)I applied for an American Express card in March and still havn't received the digital camera. Rang them several times only to be told they'd send it in 7-10 days, but have just received a letter saying the offer ended in 2003 so I won't be receiving camera - I only got the card for the offer. Anyone else had the same problem, or am I going mad and did I miss the offer?
