For me, I think its more about how someone looks in what they are wearing. Ive seen people look a right old state in dresses and heels. People who look like they got dressed in the dark, or people who spend fortunes on what they are wearing and still look awful. If someone looked good in said leggings and a dress, as far as Im concerned fine.

Rihanna looks bloody fantastic in this, but I wouldn't suggest she wear it to the registry office. ;)

  • Great replies from everyone :)

I really like that Red floral maxi dress from DP that someone posted!

Thanks for taking the time to reply. I think it's quite possibly going to be a maxi dress..

But thats also about opinion. Someone else might think she looks awful

What I meant was, you can get people who have spent a fortune on an outfit, dress etc and still end up looking tacky.

People dont always get it right even if they adhere to a dress code.

Leggings or tights? So if these we're going to a wedding they'd have to wear tights? Even though they'd look the same with leggings?

Yes, me, I think she does.

this is very true. The amount of people I've seen all dressed up who obviously think they look fantastic, when all I've thought is 'would you look at the state of that!' (I do know they could be saying the same about me for all I know!)

Like I said before, comfortable and smart is the way to go. :)

For some people if that means wearing leggings or flats then so be it. I've been to plenty of occasions where people have just worn dressier flats, I've done it myself sometimes, as I'm not good in heels!

I think she looks awful in that outfit as well, but some people do think she looks amazing. Just personal opinion.

It's nice but, like babydoll tops, that style of frock tends to make even skinny girls look five months gone.

    Just my opinion. :p

Personally, I think its much worse to be critical of people who are dressed appropriately but who you just don't think look very good. :(
