Well, I thought I would just pop back on and let you know I didn't get the Tuesday job :) but I had the other interview this morning and they have asked me to come in for a second interview next week to see the Director :) I think it might end up being a much better fit. Everything happens for a reason! So I don't want to massively get my hopes up but I think this may work out :) fingers crossed!

Well done for getting invited back after your interview this morning. That is a good sign. Hope it all works out for you.

Glad that the first interview seems to have improved communication between you (and was good practice for today's) - all the best for next week.

By the way, I was going to suggest that your OH considered cycling. 40 mins' walk probably equates to 15-20 mins' bike ride.

Interview next week cancelled.......because they would just like to go ahead and offer me the job!!!! :D

Can't wait to tell OH. He said he's going to start cycling into work to save us a bit of money anyway which is lovely. This job is only an 8 minute train ride away so I will have some extra travelling costs but nothing like the expense of running a car luckily.

However it's something I think that both of us are going to start saving and working towards. Don't want to find ourselves in a position like this again where I may suddenly need my own vehicle.

All's well that ends well! Thanks everyone!

    Congratulations! Well done you.
