Just to update I've now been offered a permanent role following my trial period :-) Still terrified everything will go wrong again but I know I'm very fortunate too and just hope I can prove myself again and get back to the strong, confident person I was before....0

Just remember when you start to doubt your ability to do the job - the company gave you a trial period and now offered you a permanent role so they must feel that you've been doing a good job so far!!! Good luck Shazza and start believing in your own ability0

Thank you Lakes. Tbh I know I'm good at my job. I just have this huge black cloud following me around at the moment that just won't let me get too excited about things...I've been too close to losing everything and it's a very scary place to come back from...but I'm trying :-)0

Congratulations - I know you've said the idea terrifies you, but someone clearly has confidence in you even though you're struggling with it yourself at the moment. That has to count for something. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
Well done hun. Keep us posted on how you get on and be kind to yourself x0

Well done on the job. I think your new employer is sensible enough to see that your Gm at previous was a genuine mistake & not as a deception.
There is a big difference in what the GM was for & yours was a genuine error.I don't respond to stupid so that's why I am ignoring you.
