The current posturing and bullying from Cameron is swinging the pendulum
You mean the current bullying and posturing by the nats.
The UK Government setting out its position for the UK and Scotland is logical and has been called on by most so they can see the pros and cons. It is a shame that the nats cant do the same.
Speculation is growing in Europe over Prime Minister David Cameron’s rumoured backing of European Commission President Jos! Manuel Barroso should he make a bid to become the next head of Nato.

Steady lads and lassies; we were nearly getting back on to the original topic there with that talk of investments!
But so a s not to spoil the party.......
I am still amazed at all the divergence of views regarding independence, England, Scotland and views on international law and politics.
The only thing that is clear to me is that it is unclear and that solutions (of some sort) will be agreed upon eventually - as has been said it's politics!
Atush and others may be wondering at the 'negativity' to the English that comes from some Scots. Part of it is explained by being the little brother of a much bigger nation and some jealousy too; part explained by the ignorance that some of England has of Scotland's culture, politics, law, geography and history; the parochial outlook of 'London' and to a lesser extent other parts of the English regions; that Scotland is treated as, but is not, a region of the UK or England; is considered remote; Scots often have an underdog feeling rather than an apparent arrogant disposition (such as in some sporting teams and the media etc.). UK organisations, media etc. tend not to give give representation to Scotland.
You may think this is a Scottish/English thing but it is not. How often do you hear the sports results from N Ireland on 'UK' TV ? Why have many Welsh wished their own government too and dislike white settlers purchasing all those country cottages?
I write as a person with mixed racial origins so no great axe to grind but can see things as they are. You need to experience the situation to recognise it!
Just starting to watch the six nations rugby again today hosted by the presenter who had to apologise having slipped into the Britain is England mode. That is also seen on this thread with "England" being (perhaps unintentionally) slipped in to mean rUK!
However as I stared in an earlier post it is often just the centralisation issue. That will not change with independence and there will be anti-central feelings on a smaller scale. Gosh it's already happening with the SNP centralising Police, Fire services etc. with the loss of local representation and knowledge and councils finance limited whilst centra Scottish Gov spends lots of money on a new Forth bridge. I trust we will not have to dodge the potholes on it and the motorways leading up to it!
No wonder the smaller nations are seen as anti English they are justified (sometimes) in feeling they are hard done by!0 -

The last one said nothing of the sort (it was 38/47/16) and was a targetted online survey so carries little value.
