I've had enough of autocorrect today.
It's just changed Beagle to be able (not sure what type of dog that is)
Earlier it changed cacoon to raccoon (doubt there are caterpillars in them) and imageshack to lumberjack...
Anyone considered using it as a random baby name generator?
To add to the pet thing,my parrot has my surname as hers on her hatch certificate:DIf women are birds and freedom is flight are trapped women Dodos?0 -
Actually, just remembered that my mums cat (who she got when he had to be rehomed as his owner was seriously allergic to all the pets and it was making her ill), he has a name that he got when he was registered as his breed when he was born, his show name, not that he appears in shows, its starspangle raphael.
Thats not the name hes known by thank god.0 -
I have no idea where my middle name came from, l I know is it's the same as my mums, thought I can't think of any female relatives with that name. I think of of my sisters middle name is a family one, and my brothers middle name is my dad's grandfathers name.
I don't think I'd use any of my parents, or grandparents name (though I quite like my great grandmothers name (florance may) bit old fashioned perhaps though.
That said I still want to name my hypothetical kids Chole and Jack but I fear that's me taking my 24 obsession to stupid lengthsThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Hes a chinchilla persian, as far as I know when they are born they are registered and given a name that they would have if they were to enter shows, the previous owners had papers to say that, but thats not the name they gave him from day to day which is unusual, but still ordinary compared to being called starspangle. I'll ask my mum but Im sure its to do with his breed, the fact that hes persian, I think his papers also gave his parents show names as well.
Maybe to do with if people wanted to spend a lot of money buying him, they would want to know as well that he was a pure breed as chinchillas can cost a lot of money.
My mum got him for nothing, the owners were just happy that he was going to a good home, because the mum of the family developed a severe allergy to most of the pets and they had to be rehomed as the allergy was so severe it could have killed her.0
