Don't fret - it's not like a bomb or summat :rotfl:
Probs unfermented, rather than uncooked.
Anyway, you do your research as I know you will.
It's you you are putting it into afterall:rotfl:

Mercy your big burger sounds like a good idea-so fed up of Mexican fudge or sausages for breakfast!
Yesterday I made Butter Chicken (the videojug one that is on the recipe page) and it is lovely. I also made the cauliflower pizza! (curry is for dinners in the week - I'm not that greedy to have 2 dinners!) It turned out really well and so will definitely be doing that again! Was really pleased with how both meals turned out. Kitchen was a bomb site after though!!Since starting again after beanie: June 2016: Child development DVDs, Massive Attack tickets. July: Aberystwyth trip, hotmilk nightie. Hi, can I join you
I started a paleo-ish diet on jan 4th and lost 12lbs in the first 3 weeks....I then fell off the wagon and have lost/gained the same 4lbs ever since:o
It works brilliantly for me, but I seem to need to test the system to determine how much I can get away with eating before I gain...which explains why I have another 3 stone of (ahem) baby weight to lose.
So I need inspiration and new recipe ideas. Just had a look at the cauliflower pizza which looks fab and will try this week.
Turkey stir fry tonight as everyone will eat it.0 -

Good luck!! It really does work if you stick to it. I am really pleased at the moment. I am not sure what I am going to do after the wedding but it has been brilliant for fast (but still steady) weight loss.I had the last of it last night with cheese melted over and a dollop of mayo - lovely
Do you bake it or fry it Mercy?Since starting again after beanie: June 2016: Child development DVDs, Massive Attack tickets. July: Aberystwyth trip, hotmilk nightie. Aug: £10 Hipp Organic vouchers, powerpack. September: Sunglasses. October: £30 poundland vouchers.0 -
When I make the big burger I use an egg or 2 to 500g beef mince, worcester sauce, onion etc About 35 - 45 mins @ 180'C.

sigghhh..
I've low carbed for 13 days, tracked religiously on myfitnesspal and eaten under 40g carbs every day (under 30 for the first week) but have lost less than a pound???:(:(
I've also been going to the gym 3 times a week; kettlercise class, spinning or strength session.
I'm carrying on regardless but feel a little dispirited that there are no obvious signs of improvement in either my weight or shape as yet. Guess its more of a long haul???0 -
Hiya debtmonkey.
Not about bursting bubbles but have you investigated soy?
I mean fermented against unfermented?
Far Eastern folk ate soy only once it had been fermented.
Anyway

I am not a fan. You make your own mind up.

None of that is actually true though. What you find is that all of those 'health' websites quote the same study or each other.
Soya has been eaten in Asia for thousands of years in many guises. Tofu is eaten throughout east Asia and is not fermented. The Okinawans eat twice as much tofu as the rest of Japan and they are the longest lived people in the world. Soya milk is also widely consumed in China.
Anyone who doesn't believe me should go to their nearest Chinese supermarket and look at the array of soya products available: edamame beans, tofu, silken tofu, beancurd skin, soya drink, soya dessert and fermented products as well.0 -

Are you eating enough fat? If your body isn't getting fat for energy (as it will no longer use carbs) then it will go into starvation mode and you won't lose. Are you drinking enough water? Give it a bit longer as your body will be building muscle so initially you won't lose as the fat you lose doesn't show as you are building muscle. Have you measured your waist/tummy/upper arms with a measuring tape and checked that?Since starting again after beanie: June 2016: Child development DVDs, Massive Attack tickets. hi Eleanor73
based on the MFP info, I've been having between 48% and 61%fat each day.is this enough?
its a struggle to find things to keep the fat content up though
I havent counted calories but have had around 1200-1400 most days.
i'm not big on drinking water generally (massive teaholic) but have been making more of an effort with this.
Had a day off yesterday as we had a birthday dinner booked- felt quite bloated and full after and the champers went straight to my head!!
back on it today with scrambled eggs with cream for brekkie before body pump, a whey protein after and a home made burger for lunch. I made Mercy's mexican fudge at the weekend and have some left over to snack on.
No- I havent taken measurements, thats an idea0
