lovestotravel wrote: »Hi, Can you help me please? We booked a flight from Las Vegas to LHR with BA but paid with avios. It was a first class flight and was delayed approx 20 hrs due to a technical problem. They refused to pay us compensation but gave us some avios as an ex-gratia payment. Can I still make a claim under the new ruling ?? Many thanks
.
If you travelled with BA (or a European carrier) AND travelled after February 2009 AND bought a fare available to the general public (even with airmiles) AND did not accept the avios points as settlement of your claim then yes.0 -

I've been to the Jet2 thread, then the 'parent' thread, then the 'info' post, then arrived here - and there are lots of references to "see page 1", but I still haven't found the FAQs!!0

there were previously posters that spent a lot of time and effort creating individual airline threads and FAQs (on page 1 of each thread) and then, for whatever reasons (maybe pure frustration) left the forums and their posts were removed
there is this great guide by Vauban which, unfortunately, is not a Sticky but should be the first port of call before anyone posting
