Not a nonspend day today. Managed to get a couple of Christmas presents online. All money saving or discounts used so good value for money. Managed a whole week with no lunch purchases at work. Not in the office tomorrow as working at home so save fuel also. Feeling fairly organised for the festivities. Few bits to sort but if it were to sneak up on us tomorrow we would be good to go. Love this time of year. XMortgage free Start amount feb 2014 227000. Current amount nov 2014 217000.

Hello Tilly. Thanks for popping over.
Unfortunately the pizza take away won on Friday. It was delicious tho. A weekend of not much Dh painted the living room and it looks lots better We have our final two students of the year. Came on Saturday for one week. Seem lovely. Fed them tonight with food that may have gone in the bin on some houses as the date was yesterday. It smelt ok and we are all alive. If I disappear you will know why. On a similar note I fed dh eggs that went off yesterday for breakfast. Who knew we could keep eggs that long in our house. Usually bake so much we have to pop out for them.
Hoping to get the house all smart and pretty for Christmas decorations going up next weekend. Possibly. If we can get sorted and have a tree that can be delivered as if don't want to put one in my car. Maybe by next year the novelty will have worn off. Of the car. Not Christmas. That won't ever wear off.
Final news of the weekend. My brother proposed to his girlfriend and dd is going to be a flower girl. Amazeballs. XMortgage free Start amount feb 2014 227000. Current amount nov 2014 217000.

Not a no spend day today. Christmas. Need I say more. I did work out tho that I have overpaid 6000 in 10 months and that will save 9200 in interest. Amazing.Mortgage free Start amount feb 2014 227000. Current amount nov 2014 217000.

Spent the day sorting and clearing the house. Tend to have a big sort before the Christmas tree is allowed to come to the house. Looking lots better and dh won't recognise the place when he gets in. There is still the issue that dd has too much stuff in her room. Dd is away for the weekend and back Sunday in time to help choose a Christmas tree.Mortgage free Start amount feb 2014 227000. Signed into internet banking. 200 pounds transferred. Just under 217000 left. Not a bad overpayment 2014. Probably won't make anymore overpayments this year as I am not sure what the plans are for dh for Christmas. I imagine we will be able to pay 1000 in January. Fingers crossed. Am still struggling with the rainy day pot and how much needs to stay there.
We spent nothing last feb and decided we would earn anything we needed other than the direct debit stuff and fuel so will probably do that again. My aim is to get the mortgage under 200000 this time next year. Hopefully with the change to the mortgage in the new year it will be achievable. Also nearly forgot. Today I made my last ever payment for y student loan. 11 years after I finished the course. Amazing.Mortgage free Start amount feb 2014 227000. Current amount nov 2014 217000.

Just realised that we have paid over 10k off the mortgage since we started this. That includes the 4 k we would have paid off over the year and we still have two months left to go.
