Yay, lost 5 pounds in two weeks. Admittedly, some might have been excess water on return from holiday, but really pleased. It was quite easy getting back to the regime. OH also lost 7lbs last week. He's not doing 5:2 but really determined to lose some weight after it had crept up over the last few months. His blood pressure has also gone down so this has all spurred him on. It does help when you're both on the same page.0

Ive just been out for lunch. Superb.
I didn't fancy any of the light lunches on the menu, do chose a tomato hummus and feta open sandwich, with salad.
Absolutely gorgeous. I don't think I'll eat again and consider today as an extra fast.
I'm not going to open wine for the game tonight as my friend won't be here to share it. Too much temptation if I'm on my own. OH will have a Belgian beer, in the correct glass, of course.Member #14 of SKI-ers club

Ha ha! I brew my own beer and my last batch was a German weissbier recipe. I have to drink it from the correct glass which, oddly enough, was bought in a kitchen shop in Perth, Australia.0 -
Managed to lose a pound this week so got under 9stone
Might not calorie count so much now, its exhausting. I would like to continue to lose weight but I don't see calorie counting every day as sustainable. I will keep doing fast days twice a week and attempting to exercise more especially if I make unhealthy food choices!

Another fast day for me.
I only lost 1/4 lb this week, but I kinda get why. I didn't completely lose the plot over the weekend, I would say I enjoyed myself more than I normally would on a diet (sorry way of eating).
But it's not the end of the world. I'll just pick myself up and carry on. I'm now 9st 6lb and have three more weigh ins before my holiday. If I don't make it to 9st before then (which I probably won't), it's no biggie, I will still feel better in my (new) swimsuit than I would have at 10st 2lb. And I can always continue my quest for 9st when I get back.
Menu for today has changed a bit as I was getting bored of prawn stir fry.
2 x Quorn fillets - 90 cals
1/2 packet noodles - 216 cals
100ml cheese sauce - 82 cals
Peppers/mushrooms/beansprouts - 69 cals
Total - 457
So with my cup of coffee in the morning, doesn't really leave me enough to have an options tonight. I haven't the last couple of fasts, but I'll see how I feel as to whether I have one later or not.
I know I could have courgetti instead of noodles, but I honestly can't stand them and I figured as I'm not eating anything all through the day, it'll be something to look forward to.
I'd like to cut out the cals in the cheese sauce, but I can't think of any other sauce that would go okay with it. Had stir fry sauce for the last couple of weeks, but again wanted something different.Pink Sproglettes born 2008 and 2010

Good luck to everyone for the week ahead!0 -
Pollyanna, would tomato sauce or passata be less calorific?
Check the sugar content.
I've just bought new pants and top - size 12. :j
Got lots of good trousers which are much too big. I'll have to see if they can be altered.Member #14 of SKI-ers club

Good weigh day, very happy! Lost that two pounds I'd put on and 1 &1/2 more!
Just short of that psychological boost of seeing 9st something. Hopefully my last chance to weigh before holidays, Tuesday, will give me that.Member #14 of SKI-ers club

It probably would, but I like cheese sauce.
What I did on Monday was have what I said I was going to have, but I misjudged on the cheese sauce calories, so ended up having 513 calories for the day.
But I was so full, my meal was lovely and so I am going to have the same again tonight. But instead of 20g cheese sauce granules, I will only put 15g so I will come under 500 calories. Means I can't have anything else, but I'm okay with that. I'll spend my day daydreaming about my gorgeous dinner!Pink Sproglettes born 2008 and 2010

I'm sure I've been slightly over on occasions, but it's probably evens out in the long run.Member #14 of SKI-ers club
