5:2 Diet (part II)

Well the school holidays are over and I can get back on the plan.
I put on 4lbs over the full holiday period which really could have been much worse.
It is my first fast day today and I am struggling a little - I did sneak a tiny bit of cold roast beef from the fridge earlier but I will make up for it by having less at dinner. I am in the office tomorrow so I can be less tempted there - not that it is a fast day but I am also trying to be pretty good on the other 5 days.
I have just over a stone to go having lost just under a stone since 1st June.I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Pensions, Annuities & Retirement Planning, Loans

Good afternoon
Now that I am settled into my new house I am starting my fast again.
Starting weight on 7th September 11:12
Todays weight 11:060 -
I haven't posted on here in a while, but I am still sticking to my fast days.
Still feeling thinner, although I haven't lost any weight in over a month now. But maybe I'm at the maintenance stage as I only weigh 9stone (I am rather short though).
My non fast days are a bit bad which makes me feel like I'm not sticking to the diet really well, but I'm just glad I haven't put any weight on as would normally happen when I go a bit lax on a diet.Pink Sproglettes born 2008 and 2010
Mortgages (End 2017) - £180,235.03
(End 2021) - £131,215.25 DID IT!!!
(End 2022) - Target £116,213.810 -

Hi
What I would give to be your weight! I am quite short 5ft 3"
I will be happy if I get down to 10stone.
Only another 1 stone and 6lbs to go:(
I have just done 4 fasts, only eating dried muesli on my fast days, it's quite filling.0 -
I am aiming for 11 stone but then I am 5'11" so it is all about what works for you.
My LBM during May half term where I weighed in at 13st4lb is thankfully just a horrible memory and I am now in the 11s. woo hoo!
11st8lb was my WW gold weight from a start of 14st8lb but that was 12 years ago and I had let things slide. That took me from a size 20 to a 14 bottom/12 top (I carry all my weight in my bottom, hips and thighs and have AAs up top).
I have got back into the 5:2 habit now, although my DH was not impressed with my roasted cherry tomato sauce on pasta the other day and had a real grump until I pointed him at an open packet of bacon in the fridge to liven his meal up. He needs to lose the weight too but has less opportunity to be good - I walk the dogs for 3 miles every morning and then disappear off at 6am to the forest with them on Sundays for an hour's dryland mushing. He manages one swim a week, if that.I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Pensions, Annuities & Retirement Planning, Loans

I've just started too. My fitness pal is a good app for working out calories. It will tell you off on fasting days (too few calories), but just ignore it.
Not sure about websites, I use a combination of low cal ready meals (to make life easier and reduce temptation, after a long day at work) and smaller portions of 'normal' healthy foods like porridge, stir fry and veg soups.
Hopefully someone will be along soon with more suggestions.[FONT="][FONT="] Fighting the biggest battle of my life.Started 30th January 2018.

Thanks for your reply and suggestions jayII :T
I have downloaded the app and had a go! Looks ideal, might even use it every day! Made me chuckle that it tells you off!:D"Things can only get better.................c/o D:Ream #The 90's"

Ahoyhoy! Right, so I'm in. Decided last night. Am 12 hours in and I'm still alive! I don't feel thin yet. What's that about?
Anyway, so far, two cups of lemon and hot water. Them's good eatin'! I've decided on some fish and tomatoes for dinner.
113kg when I woke up. No idea what that is in sterling.
LET'S DO THIS THING!*
