Hi everyone. Lots of great losers - well done all of you.
Mildredd, I find I have to write everything down or I can just ignore things and pretend to myself that I didn't have such and such. Writing things down on this site means being totally honest about what I'm doing, otherwise I'd just be lying to friends and I cannot do that, strangely, even although I don't have to look you in the eye. That's why you get the tedium of my plan, plus it's review. Sorry about that.
Any way, it's a 1lb loss for me this week, shala. It's not great but I'm happy with that.
Review of Tuesday's plan
Breakfast: boiled eggs & soldiers - only used 1 slice of bread, banana
Lunch: assorted cold meats, assorted pickles, grapes, melon, shape 0% fat yogurt
Dinner: burger with fries & pepper sauce (SW mag), rhubarb & ginger crumble (4.5)
I did well until tea time. Then I added a white roll (7.5) and butter (3.5). I used tinned rhubarb (2) and poured on some 48% fat double cream (4)
Snacks: 1 choc digestive biscuit (3)
Total so far 24.5So much for getting back on track!
Once I start I can't stop! I'm hungry! I still have half of my hexb and all of my hexa for supper, so probably 2 original Ryvita and 2 dairylea light triangles with tomatoes.
Wednesday's plan
Breakfast: mackerel on toast
Lunch: chicken couscous salad
Dinner: pork, egg & veg fried rice (SW mag - 0.5)Sewing 88/COLOR]Woollies 19Card s 91Reading 37/400 -
Evening all!
Thank you lantanna and daisy for the date stories. Daisy when I read your story it put a massive smile on my face. I believe in fate too, and I know you said you're taking it slowly but I really hope it works out for you.
Happy belated birthday to Shala and Lucky-Legs, sorry I didn't post yesterday but I hope you both enjoyed your days, and didn't forget that syns don't count on a birthday.
Well done to all of the losers, some really great loses there, as a group we must be over the 100lb mark by now.
I'm glad you had a good time at your family party Mildredd, it's always nice when people notice the weight loss. I never really appreciated it before until people stopped doing it. I hope it has spurred you on as I know you have had it rough lately.
Mrs_Ryan I ended up getting married in my wedding dress that was too big for me. I caught a sickness and diarrhoea bug (sorry tmi) 5 days before my big day and lost a lot of weight. It didn't ruin my day but it was such a pain having to re-adjust every 5 minutes, I wouldn't take any chances. And anyway once it has been adjusted the last time if its still not right I would be inclined to have a good old munch!! You've done so well with your weight loss already, its so important to be comfortable on your big day
Hope everyone else is doing ok. Its my second weigh in tomorrow and Im already feeling nervous. I know I will feel like such a failure if I gain weight tomorrow, like my week one was just a fluke. I'm unlucky as it is with week 2 (think the biggest loser to those that watch it) I really hope the scales reflect my week, I've been on plan again.
Good luck to everyone weighing in tomorrow0 -
Right you lovely lot....
I have finally read most of this new thread and have found some time to actually post instead of just read!!!
I would like to declare myself as re-re-re-starting SW (4th time lucky) sorry smilies don't seem to be working, but imagine a very ashamed face!!
I gave it a shot about 3 years ago, then again in 2012 and lost 4 stone, put three back on, lost another 2 last year and then had a 'planned 2 days off plan for christmas' and here I am in mid march trying to get back on the wagon after putting it all back on again!!!! boo
I very much enjoy reading this thread and everybody's bits and bobs and its nice to be back reading about you all after I haven't been here for a while. I've seen that there are a couple of ladies that used to post when I first was here, then they disappeared, but I believe they are back now, Dizzy, and if I'm correct Mrs McCawber, who I think is the lady that used to be posted overseas as her husband was in the forces.
And it's nice to recognise a lot of the names from when I was here last and I hope you are all doing well.
I like reading about what everyone gets up to as like someone else said it makes you think of everyone as a friend. (and I'm nosey!!) lol
I wont waffle too much longer, but I do hope you'll have me back, I never really posted loads but I will try to make more of an effort this time and I might try posting my menus sometimes too.
Oh and since I started on the 25th Feb I have lost 3.5lbs, I've got lots to lose so once again I'm here for the long haul. I wish I could be one of those people who just aren't that fussed about food and don't think about it all the time!!SW Journey Re Re-started 25/02/14
Lost - 5lbs0 -
Greentiger I enjoy your reviews
Just wish I was organised enough to know exactly what I was going to eat the night before but I don't have a clue for lunches most days
I have a question about post wi treats? Do you count them in ur syns or is it a free pass?
I normally have a treat and don't count it but this week I've counted and I don't know what to do really claw it back or accept its a post weigh in treat xxx
Had a lovely day today with my dd traipsing around the local forest mainly chasing dd who was looking for horsesI fear she may cost me a fortune in the future...

Hi All
Sorry I have not been on for a few days. Well finally got the new carpets fitted. Never knew we had so much stuff to move DH and I have found muscles we did not know we had. DH says he is getting too old for this type of thing poor darling.
Unfortunately it has had a bad influence on my eating plans as we could bearly get into the kitchen never mind into cupboards or the freezer. Then on Friday we are going out for dinner with DD and her BF, so another bad day.
The scales will be groaning on Thursday.
Best wishes to Lantanna & Daisy with your dates. There are now so many of us I cannot remember all of the names.
Hope we all get losses this week fingers crossed.:jWeight loss since 6/01/2014: 70lb0 -

Mrs Ryan – Eat until it fits - lol :j
Well done losers : ) :T Some great losses there.
Cande – welcome back, you can do it! Would be great to read your posts.
Becks – In my 3rd week at SW I’d 2 lbs on and had no idea why!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Though looking back it was probably pmt combined with wi in much heavier clothing. Imagine if I had just given up then! So glad I didn’t - so whatever they say tomorrow is a new week J . It is a horrible feeling when you gain but thankfully I’ve kind of gotten over the annoyance that I feel when I do. Womens bodies are most strange – I think lol – so although I go to group and get weighed every week I find looking at my loss in an overall month a better way to look at it for me. It just doesn't come off me week by week and then one week I'll out of the sudden get a great loss. I suspect I’ve entered a sts period again:eek: – I swear it’s the curse of the challenge for me lol. But I am doing my best and going to the gym so I’m not getting bothered over it as it will come off when its ready lol.:rotfl:
I am so sick of hearing about the whole sugar debate the last couple of weeks – its everywhere and now they are on about salt again!!!! Honestly if you listened to it all you would eat nothing!!
Chronic fog here today – not good for driving in at all. Every time I laugh, sigh, cough, move my middle hurts lol – which is actually great as that is the area needs major work – those kettlebells definitely work you. I was laughing at something last night and it was killing lol - but hey at least I'm laughing! :rotfl:
Will head up to the gym tonight and do some treadmill and bike.
Menu for today:
B: Muller Light
L: Pasta, Chicken, Passata, Mushrooms, Pepper & HE Cheese
TBC when I get home and raid the supplies!!
Syns: Curley Wurly - 6

Hi all, just catching up on yesterday's losses. Well done to everyone!
Well I got to class all excited. I'd had an angelic week food and body magic wise and I honestly thought that I might be in with a chance of 4lbs off for my 2 and a half stone. But I GAINED half a pound:(:(. Absolutely gutted! No idea why apart from maybe I was too good if that makes sense. Virtually no syns and lots of exercise may have put me into starvation mode??
Anyway, went round to my friends last night and had about 25 syns worth of wine, first drink I've had since before Christmas, so I'm certainly not an angel this week!
