3lb loss for me, week 2 please!!!!!
Really chuffed! STS last week, so it's as if it's all caught up this week. . . always worth just plodding on even when the rate slows down.
Thank you for the support this thread gives. xx0 -
And yes - am going to beautiful Cumbria for the hen weekend . . . but self catering. One hen is a Vegetarian, and one is a Vegan Raw Foodist. Food will be really interesting!!0

Morning all!! Starting today with renewed focus on this superspeed week plan that I had, off to get a big shop in after posting this, then getting cooking!
lantanna - I totally dont mind you asking, I'm trying really hard not to do that thing where I speak about him all the time but it's pretty hard so I'm delighted you've asked!! Basically, we never used to get along at all, and then we bumped into each other at a music festival years ago and ended up spending the whole weekend together. He made it clear he liked me and I liked him too, but I was going through a messy breakup and ended up getting back together with my ex. Fast forward a few years and we bump into each other again, and start seeing each other. I wasn't 100% sure (not because of him, but I just wasn't sure I was ready to be in a relationship again), he was very keen on me and it all ended again. I realised I was being stupid a few weeks later but by that time, he'd started going out with someone else, convinced that me and him were totally over.
For six years I've thought of it as the biggest mistake I ever made until I found out that he's single and we got back in touch......we arranged to meet up to go to a gig last friday, neither of us were very sure what the heck was going on but as soon as we met up I think we both just knew. Haven't seen him properly for years but there was no awkwardness or silences. He lives a wee bit of distance away from me, hence the second date on Sat and then I'm seeing him next week before I go on holiday for a week. It's all very exciting but he isn't that long out of his relationship so I'm taking it very slow, not sure how I'd cope if it all went wrong again!! Feels a little bit like fate has had a hand in it though, I've only really just gotten over getting out of a very violent and abusive relationship. Anyway, enough of me droning on!! Have you got another date planned with your guy?
Today is green.....
b: weetabix milk banana (HEXA /
l: quorn chilli cheese dogs (2 syns, HEXB2)
d: superspeed rogan josh with 4 superspeed veg in it
snacks - superspeed fruit and sf jelly
Hope you all have a great day folks xxxxxx0 -
Morning all, I've been a bit quiet this week, as was up at my mum and dad's at the weekend. Tracey, re the quark lemon, it was 1 point for 100g, so still very low.
I tried very hard to stay on track at home. Very difficult, but mainly OK, as I had "saved" syns all week. Lunch on Saturday was a chore, as the cafe we went to was full, and ran out of jacket pots, so we ended in costa, and I was starving. I was about to go for wholemeal bread egg sarnie. and luckily got on the app, discovered it was something like 18 syns! So I put it back and went hungry, not good idea but didn't know what else to do.
Anyway I'm back, weighed in last night end LOST 1LB so I'm pleased with that, as I did sucumbe to a half portion of baileys cheesecake on sat night, and a bit of sponge cake on Sunday!
back on it today though,
Breakfast: 2 Hifi bars and a fat free yog
Lunch: Prob a snack shot and some extra veg
Dinner: Quorn sausage casserole in the slow cooker, loads of veg.
Fruit and a snack in there too.

Mildredd – A shoogle is what I call 20 mins on the x-fit(vibrating plate), think a wee shoogle sounds better lol. I didn’t actually make it, had to take son to the park & ended up playing tig with him & DD before my class at 6!
Mrs Lady – Enjoy your hen weekend
Well done everyone on your losses!! :j:T
Shala & Lucky Legs Happy Belated Birthday, sorry I missed it yesterday
Well Drum roll………this week I had a loss of 0.5lb, I did miss a few breakfast/lunches at the weekend & didn’t eat my HE’s every day, not sure if that’s why it was so little but back on it this week properly!
Our consultant spoke about Success Express last night(seeing as I had put it on our Facebook page & opened a can of worms).I am doing 2 this week as I have a tribute night with 3 course meal & an overnight stay on Friday evening, hoping this will not hinder a decent loss next week.
Our Consultant is going to be setting us a challenge from Wednesday (she runs a group Monday & Tuesday) so wants both groups to participate on the same days…..I am intrigued to find out what it is!
So our biggest loser last night was a lovely lady who has lost 5st 6 since last May she has been on 2 Carribean Cruises & 1 holiday in that time & never gained!! She has had a few STS but never gained, she doesn’t drink which she thinks helps her a lot. She got a great big round of applause & a lovely bouquet of flowers.
SE for me today

L– SW Quiche (HEA1), loads of salad, dressing (1 syn) melon, pineapple, kiwi 1 x alpen light (1/2 HEB1)

Mrs Lady – Oh that does sound interesting - food wise!! Well at least with self catering it will be a bit of a giggle - like a giant dinner party each night! Let us now what you end up having that caters for all!! Well done on your loss – I love a 3 lber lol – nothing quite like that feeling!
Bloomin heck daisy – that’s quite a story – I’d a big smile on my face reading that – Awh how nice. That is so sweet - love it!!!! Such a believer in whats went for you will not go past you J
Yeah we are going out on Wednesday for a walk somewhere and then maybe do something on Saturday or Sunday as well. He’s a bit spontaneous where as I am a bit of a planner. He wanted to come down and take me out for lunch on Monday - that’s what I mean by spontaneous! He is very very keen lol!
Michele – p! There is nothing in costa I will eat – it is a totally disaster lol. I was horrified when I was going one week and checked out the syns of everything on the app!!

Michele - on a similar vein I met a friend for coffee in Starbucks the other week and when I got there she had ordered me a giant cookie.....can't be that bad I thought, I'll not have any other syns today.....checked when I got home and it was 25 syns!!!!! I nearly fainted, eating out is so dangerous!!0

Morning all
Oh my god I'm trying not to think about the dress! Will try it later and report back how it goes. Wish me luck!*The RK and FF fan club* #Family*Don’t Be Bitter- Glitter!* #LotsOfLove ‘Darling you’re my blood, you have my heartbeat’ Dad 20.02.200 -
morning all
it's sunny but still very cold, brrrr.
Don't feel like eating much, still not feeling that great and coughing like mad, I am scared I might choke on something.
I had a shape yogurt and going to make some vegetable soup for lunch, maybe some mash with veg.
I am finally caught up on the thread, phew, love reading your stories and some fab losses as well.
I have a car to clean out, it is going for its MOT on Thursday and it is full of cr*p, a also needs a good vacuuming. I also have a load of towels ready to go out, no rest for the wicked eh?
Hope you have a good day in the sun0 -
Thanks for kind words everyone.:AWelshKitty85 wrote: »Stuck to plan today. Fruit for breakfast. Left over roast dinner for lunch. Chilli with rice tonight. Few jaffa cakes for my syns. Not managed to save any syns yet for my holiday, had my max allowance so far every day since WI. Hope I dont do too much damage on holiday but am going to allow myself treats while we are away. Hoping all the walking we will be doing will help balance things out.
Have only done EE since starting SW but I'm starting to wonder if green may be better for me. I dont eat a huge amount of meat and struggle to get my hexb on EE. Also, I use my hexa for milk and really miss having cheese. So, being able to have an extra hexa would be nice. Going to consider trying green days when I get back from hol.
I think the reason SW works officially on daily syns is that they figure many people like a daily treat. What they don't want is anyone to feel deprived/on a diet and give up. If that's you then don't feel you must save syns, it won't work for everyone.
I've been thinking exactly the same about Green and HEXs. I have really small meat portions unless it's a steak, partly being mse and partly as I don't think it's necessary. If you want more cheese then you could have crackers or something to put it on.Michele – p! There is nothing in costa I will eat – it is a totally disaster lol. I was horrified when I was going one week and checked out the syns of everything on the app!!
I feel the same about coffee shops. I try to either have tea or an Americano with some hot milk on the side and definitely no cookies!
I'm interested to hear about the dress too MrsR but it's the evening coming up in a couple of weeks that's a more pressing problem. Will you be able to buy new stuff?
Sounds like you had a good time at the party mildredd, delighted you got compliments from the family.:)
The next two days are going to be a bit difficult so I'm just going to do my best and then get back on plan afterwards. Tonight I have a pub meal then tomorrow it's my birthday so I'm anticipating some cake and then a meal out. I'm fancying Indian and although I prefer the tomato based sauces I'm not even thinking about syns, definitely a flexi meal.;)
Today's EE plan:
B: NAS Ribena, baked beans, HEB toast, HEA milk for teas
L: probably cold beef, pickles and LO vegI'm thinking steak, JP and salad
Syns: may be some butter or mayo and midweek wine0
