Busy day today, only just sat down now. lantanna, great to hear the date went so well!! A little bit of off topic good news is always welcome in my eyes, maybe its why we are finding this is a much bigger support than group?
I started new job today, had my induction and everyone seems lovely. Got out out for a 3 mile walk afterwards, been very good on plan but mega peckish tonight, feel like I could go mad raiding the cupboards, might have some supernoodles just to see if I can keep it at bay. Planning date number 3, a meal out next week isnt really helping my munchies!!
B: Weetabix milk banana (HEXA &
L: Toast with vegemite (HEXB2)Baked potato, quorn sausage and beans, tomato sauce (3 syns)
Snack - cheese puff (HM) HEXA2 cheese and 4 syns for pastry as light.
Cupboards are practically bare this end, planning a big shop to make some curry, chilli and spag bol to go in the freezer. And actually get started on this superspeed week that I'm supposedly now halway through!!!!! Hope you all had a great day xx0 -
Happy birthday, Shala & legs.
Glad your date went well, lantanna.
review of Monday's Plan
Breakfast: yogurt & fruit banana
Lunch: out with friend (cue Jaws danger music) spaghetti alla Barese with broccoli, chillies & cherry tomatoes (oil 3, hexa parmesan) panna cotta (10?) In my defence, I didn't have any bread :A
Dinner: all day breakfast (1) from SW mag includes cabbage, onion, tomatoes, mushrooms, egg, xl cumberland sausages (2syns, not 1 for Tesco sausages instead of Sainsbury's), melon
Snacks - probably hexb something, eg 2 belvita or 2 Alpen Light bars (or 1 of each
Total: 15 syns All in all, if I've counted/allowed correctly, it's better than I expected. We'll find out at WI tomorrow. Whatever happens, I'm happy because daughter asked me tonight if I'd lost weight
Tuesday's plan
Breakfast: boiled eggs & soldiers
Lunch: assorted cold meats, assorted pickles, grapes
Dinner: burger with fries & pepper sauce (SW mag), rhubarb & ginger crumble (4.5)

Happy Birthday Shala, would offer you some cake but as that's not appropriate, so here -
Lantanna - way to go :T.
Gallygirl reporting a stunning 0.5lbs off :rotfl:A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

I like when the thread goes a bit off topic it's nice to know a bit more about people. I like the way people talk about life and its not all weight loss all the time
Well I had a lovely night out on Saturday at a family partyhaven't seen quite a few people since July (pre sw) so had quite a few compliments - head swells
I felt good even if I wasn't out for long as most of it was spent chasing my toddler round a dance floor and fielding her away from a buffet tablein heels
heels
Sunday was a lazy day spent in the garden with the dd - chasing her takes a lot of energy ( I may have jogged actual jogged) plus letting her fly
Soooooo it's my groups biggest loser next week I'm debating not going to group.
Plus it's a taster session- first one we've had since I joined? It's low Syn or Syn free snacky nibbles? I'm debating jelly sweets as low Syn and not awful?
Sorry for the long post
Mrsmc/Catt/Nessie where are you?!
Beanie - have you been lost in Krispy Kreme land?
Catt don't make me email you :@
Frogga hope your okay mucusy friend xxxStarted sw 02/09/13 - total loss so far -5st 1lb
New Year New You Challenge - /6lb0 -
lantanna Pleased to hear the date went well. Please keep us posted on how it progresses. Re the crisps, they have been I the house since I started sw and nobody seems to be eating them. They haven't bothered me much as I have had my own low fat one from aldi, which are lush, but once they are gone I won't buy anymore so I cant be tempted!0

Stuck to plan today. Fruit for breakfast. Left over roast dinner for lunch. Chilli with rice tonight. Few jaffa cakes for my syns. Not managed to save any syns yet for my holiday, had my max allowance so far every day since WI. Hope I dont do too much damage on holiday but am going to allow myself treats while we are away. Hoping all the walking we will be doing will help balance things out.
Have only done EE since starting SW but I'm starting to wonder if green may be better for me. I dont eat a huge amount of meat and struggle to get my hexb on EE. Also, I use my hexa for milk and really miss having cheese. So, being able to have an extra hexa would be nice. Going to consider trying green days when I get back from hol.0 -
Weigh in tomorrow, hoping for a better result as I've been a bit stuck for a couple of weeks. I'd like to get my one stone shiny
Going on my hen do next weekend though - so even if I get it this week I might have to give it back next!!
Nighty night folks!0 -
WelshKitty - if you don't eat much meat you might be better off doing Green days as you say. Of course meat would be one of your HEBs and you can have 2 but one of those could be cheese so you can get a double helping of that on Green - one HEA and one HEB:T.
I enjoy reading all the news from everyone, think the thread might get a bit boring if it is just SW stuff and would be no different to going to group, although my group we often talk about loads of stuff which isn't SW!
I'm back to EE today although haven't really got much veg at the moment but as I'm at target I don't think it's quite as critical to have the 1/3 fruit and veg every day.
B - melon & yoghurt
L - scrambled egg on toast, lettuce, cucumber, beetroot
D - LO roast chicken, SW chips, beans. May have some more melon for pud.
HEA - milk in tea throughout the day
HEB - 2 slices of WM bread for toast
No idea what syns I'll have yet although may buy something to snack on when I come out of the hospital - more blood tests!

Well done with your loss Mildredd:j – especially as you thought you had been so off track! You must have stayed well clear of the buffet!! I love a buffet and could eat plates and plates off that kind of stuff!
Sary – you just reminded me that I have quorn meatballs in the freezer I must do something with! Did you ever dig out those curley wurley’s?:rotfl:
So the cold & flu seems to be doing the rounds at the min – get well soon those afflicted!! :grouphug:
Daisy – oooh a date number 3 go you. If you don’t mind me asking did you go with him for long before? I’m nosey lol and love to hear how others got together etc!!
Think I have date number 2 on Wednesday night – a walk somewhere at my insistence! There might be a food related one at the weekend lol.
Gallygirl – anything at all off is something off!! You’ll see the rest of that loss next week! :T
Mrs Ryan – Yes I’m very interested in what way the dress is as well?? Its sods law isn’t it – try to lose and you maintain and try to maintain and you lose lol.
Happy Birthday Shala – Hope you have a lovely day J xx :bdaycake:
Mildredd – So they are doing biggest loser then? That's a bit rubbish actually as the closing date for the Nationwide competition is this Friday - so strange they are running a week behind! R you not wanting to get it if your thinking of not going?? Go you wearing heels – I bet everyone was thinking you were looking fab - so just you enjoy those compliments! I find it hard to take compliments lol they just make me feel uncomfortable - I've always been like though lol! from I was a child!
We’ve only ever had one taster session which crashed and bombed!!lol. I made the Nutella SW Ferrero Rocher which did me no favours as I ended up eating the remaining half of the jar the following week – never again is that stuff coming into my house!!
Mrs Lady – Oh your hen – how exciting! Off anywhere nice? Just try and be on it until you go and then let your hair down and have a blast!! _party_
Welshkitty – A house where their not eating the crisps lol – whats wrong with your family? Lol Force feed them until they are gone!!
So I went to Kettle Bells last night and it totally killed me – I have no strength in my arms at all and I was by far the weakest in the class last night – but hey at least I’m trying!! We did some work on the inner thighs and I can feel it today!
Menu for today
B: Muller & Fruit
L: Ham & Egg Salad
The Chicken Stirfry with noodles that I never had last night lol as I ended up having bacon and eggs
Syns: Either a curley wurley or two hi fi bars!
