    I've been Money Tipped!
Maddywaddy, I'm sorry for your week one gain. Did you wear the same clothes to get weighed in as you did last week? Could it be hormones or water retention? Had you had a large meal before weigh in? Did you fill in a food diary and get it checked incase there was something you had misunderstood about the plan? Do I ask too many questions lol :p?

Sorry for late response - I have been doing sw for a couple of months I meant my Easter Week 1 result :)

I did have my meal later than usual and I was bloated last week ... tut tut but I got weighed on some other scales and I was the same as the week before so no loss no gain (I have used them before and was always 2lb heavier than the sw ones)

    But thanks for your response.

    Hi Everyone

I had a mad busy weekend!!! Glad there are no more kids parties for a while....3 in 2 days & a cinema trip, was glad to get back to work this morning. Went over my syns at the weekend so not sure how I will get on at WI tonight :o. This Friday I am going to a Cheat Loaf Tribute act in Glasgow, 3 course meal & staying overnight at a Premier Inn so going to try keep syns low throughout the week in prep for Friday.

Glad the dates went well Lantanna & Daisy :D.

Welcome to the newbies & well done on the fab losses:T.

Shala - Thanks for keeping the sheet up to date, even although I can't see it in work, I did have a look at home last week. :D.

EE Today (keeping as light as possible before evening Weigh In)

    B - Banana, toffee mullerlight
L - Speed Soup, melon, pineapple, strawberries, blackberries
    D - Mexican Bake & veg
    Syns - 1 for 2 x coffees
Drinks 700ml water, green tea & 2 coffees, will drink more water after WI

I am going for a 20 minute shoogle before WI as well, done 60 minutes last week but they said not to expect results after one week, so I am still dubious as to whether it works, we shall see what happens after the 30 days.

Shala - thanks for the fab ideas for meals. Quite a few of those will come in useful. Tonight we're having pasta & meatballs, well except for OH, who doesn't like meatballs, or pasta very much nowadays. He's got it in his head that pasta is unhealthy and fattening (think he is basing that on the fact that body builders use it to bulk up), so he'll get something less interesting.
One of my other sons used to come with me to SW in 2011, and he got the 2 Hex's even on EE plan. They still recommend sticking to 15 syns, but it's not quite so strict, because their metabolism runs at a faster rate than us, and they're still growing. My youngest, the one who now wants to follow the plan, is just beginning to have his growth spurt, so the healthier eating, combined with more exercise should actually do him the world of good.

Is it just me, or does anyone else feel more hungry on WI day? I could eat a scabby donkey today I'm that peckish.

While I'm here, today's food plan will be this: EE

B - Activia creamy yogurt 2.5 syns, apple,
Snack - 1 slice wholemeal bread (heB), conserve (1.5)
L - Eggs, bacon, mushrooms, tomato
D - meatballs, spaghetti, Sainsb. Lighter Pasta sauce (2), chopped tomatoes, onions, peppers.
    snacks - liberte yogurt
    HeA - milk in tea/coffee

I'm trying to keep the syns a bit lower over the next few days if I can, just to try to limit the damage last week's fast food might do in the next few days. I tend to find it takes up to a week for things I've eaten off plan to have an impact.
One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home

Just had a jacket spud and beans for lunch, followed by a Muller light.

No salad in, but shopping is coming later.

Bought myself a new mag and am going to spend the afternoon reading

Don't worry about the salad, you could have a Green Day until you get your shopping sorted. I still think it's a good idea to have plenty of SFs but one day won't matter.

    My EE plan:

B: NAS Ribena, HEB porage, HEA milk
L: cold beef, bubble& squeak and pickled onions
D: ham, cauli & broccoli cheese, new potatoes, carrots
Syns: squirt of syrup, cheese sauce

I can feel a cold hanging about me. Very irritating heavy eyes and fuzzy head, I wish it would just come and go!!
  • Happy birthday Shala! Think I remember reading that someone else shares the same birthday but can't remember who, happy birthday to whoever it is though!!

lantanna, glad the date went well :T

Maman, I've felt the same as you for a few days, it's awful isn't it?! Everyday I wake up and think "today's the day I'll be loaded", but no, I just continue to feel rubbish without getting a full blown cold. Not nice, hope you feel better soon.

    Today's Green Day Menu

B - Cinnamon French toast (2xHEB wholemeal), strawberries, blackberries and Mullerlight.

L - Jacket pot topped with Mushy Peas and mint sauce.

D - Ratatouille, possibly with cous cous or if not then with pasta.

If I have pasta then will use HEA choice of cheese as well.

Sorry peeps, been mia, been really poorly this week, still not over it, I was suppose to weigh myself on Saturday but didn't. I weighed this morning:
1.5 lb off for me please Shala and happy birthday Not a lot considering I haven't eaten much at all cause of a closed up throat and hacking cough but onto the wagon today as appetite is returning.

I better get catching up on all the pages I have not read, hope you been good little losers!

I hope so too but I think it's a related NSV as losing the weight has given you the confidence to think about dating again, going to the gym, wearing nice clothes and buying new pants!:rotfl:

Had a lovely weekend away but as usual far more syns than should have but not too much to pull back thankfully.

Will need to keep syns around 8-10 a day between now and Wednesday night.

Decided on a Green day today:

B - scrambled eggs on toast; banana
L - jacket potato, quark mixed with garlic & herbs
    D - cauliflower cheese

HEA1 - milk in tea throughout the day
HEA2 - milk for cheese sauce
    HEB1 - bread for toast
HEB2 - cheese for cheese sauce and top cauliflower cheese

Syns: extra slice of WM bread 3; small ice lolly 1; sauce flour 2; spread 2 = 8
