Morning you lovely lot. !!!!!!, welcome to the party! This board is very lovely and supportive, I find it much more help than staying to group.
Soooo...this weekend has been a write off! Tried to keep a track of the syns I was drinking on Friday, can't make head nor tail of the list and I def didn't record the half of it! I did have a brilliant night, date went very well (date two was last night with a third one on the cards) so mega focus on the plan and body magic this week!! Also had 3 slices of a dominos last night but that was I all managed all day!
Hopefully you're all having a lovely weekend, can't wait to hear how your date goes Lantanna!

I've been invited to a party on Friday night. How does it work with my Syns, please? Do I just try and be as good as I can and write the evening off? Thanks :-)
Looked at it the 'official' SW way you'd either be incredibly good and keep within syns (so 15 max) or have what they call a flexi meal where you're as good as possible (even if you go hugely over) but try and keep tabs tell yourself you're definitely getting back on plan the following day.
In the real world, many of us on here save up our syns. So work out how many syns you could save until Friday (say Mon-Fri 75 syns) and eat syn free up until the party. Eating before you go can help you avoid synful nibbles but things like chicken legs (minus skin) are fine. Spirits with diet mixers or spritzers with soda water are about the lowest syn alcoholic drinks.

B: NAS Ribena, HEB toast, 2 boiled eggs, HEA milk for teas
L: ham, fried potatoes/mushroom/spring onion/tomato with beetrootroast beef, potatoes and parsnips with caul, broccoli, red cabbage, swede & carrot mash
Syns: gravy, weekend wine:j0 -
a -2lb loss this week - it was my first week and I was a bit doubtful whether I would lose anything.

Personally i think the saving syns thing encourages weight loss, as the body thinks its in a time of feast and doesn't hold on to fat in the same way. This is the first week I've done that, and despite a binge on Friday I think I'm on track to get my biggest weekly weight loss since week 1. Will know for sure tomorrow.
Ok, I've got good news, bad news and good news.
Good - I live on an island, and we are dependant on ferries for supplies. Due to high winds, my usual supermarket was almost empty, so I went to the other one where I found apple and pear crumble yogurts! I can't wait to try them, which leads onto the bad news:
I am choked with the cold and can taste nothing. So they will have to wait.
But on the plus side - it does mean unhealthy food is less appealing as I can't taste it!

Had a busy weekend, washing, ironing. cleaning, would like one day off some day!
Had a good weekend, been on plan,exercise done, just got to try and vary my exercise so have ordered a pilates dvd, has anyone ever done this before?
