Grrrrr just wrote out a post and it just vanished
Well done to all of the losers :T
Big hugs to you MaddyWaddy, its awful getting a gain when you're not expecting it. I don't know if you do already but why don't you post a food diary in case you are missing something. Don't get disheartened, just think of the fab loss you will get next week.
Mildredd and Lantanna I would be super happy to have either of you as my consultant. I believe in you both so go for it! We are all behind you.
I'm getting on ok at the moment. Im trying to 110% on track as I am paranoid about getting a gain after my loss this week. I have drunk so much water in the last few days. I have also started doing squats. Every time I left my desk to do something, on my return I would do 10 squats before I sat down. I managed over 100 today. Its great because Im exercising but don't actually feel like Im doing anything - next steps is the sit ups!!
I've discovered a new food love which is always nice. Its called fluff, and is like marshmallow you get on the inside of snowballs, its only 2 syns for a tablespoon and they are just as god as Freddos in my opinion.
Lantanna you must keep us all posted, how exciting for you! I would be impressed if someone wanted to take me to a food market, as far as first dates go he seems to have some imagination which is a good thing. Not that you need it, but good luck!0 -
Hello everyone. I joined SW online last Sunday... so first WI this Sunday. Sunday seems a rubbish day for a WI. Would rather Thursday! Can I change it?
Thanks

Well today has been my first EE day this week as one of my major sources of stress (also known as TMA01 to those who know) was submitted last night
I've been very good today and I've been for a 4 mile walk
I think it's a little bit like closing the stable door after the horse has bolted but I'm going to try and minimise the damage rather than attempt a loss for WI on Monday
Breakfast: Fresh strawberries, cherry Mullerlight, pint of NAS cordial
L: SW carbonara with HEXA laughing cow and ham, pint of NAS cordial
T: Co-op Sweet Chilli Chicken noodle salad (3.5 syns) steamed mixed veg, Co-op cheese twist (2 syns) fresh blackberries, Activia 0% yoghurt, litre of Volvic water
Edit: supper was a BBQ Beef MugShot and a bag of salt n vinegar Hoops and crosses- taking today's syn count to 10 exactlynight all x

Brilliant losses peeps.. I've picked them all up, will post the chart tomorrow.
Becks - brilliant loss.. :j
I'd wrote some more on another post but I lost it and now can't remember what I wrote  sorry...Every time I left my desk to do something, on my return I would do 10 squats before I sat down. I managed over 100 today. Its great because Im exercising but don't actually feel like Im doing anything - next steps is the sit ups!!
Do you work from home? or was this in the middle of the office, if I did this i'd get some odd looks :rotfl::rotfl: well odder than normal!I've discovered a new food love which is always nice. Its called fluff, and is like marshmallow you get on the inside of snowballs, its only 2 syns for a tablespoon and they are just as god as Freddos in my opinion.
I love Fluff!! I can't have it in the house though, it's like nutella - addictive :drool:Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0 -
Thanks Shala,
I did mention in my post that vanished that I was luckily in my office on my own today, so I don't know how often I'll be able to do my squats, but every little helps right?!
PinkLady if you're not happy WI on Sunday change your day! It is your journey and you have to do what suits you. I'm not sure how you would do it online. On my online access it asks for my weight loss on the Wednesday that I weigh in, but I don't have to enter it on that day - it may be the same for you.
I've had 3 different WI day's but I don't think I would be brave enough to have it on a weekend.0 -
Go you Lantanna :T well done on not blowing your friends off for a man
Lantanna, I think we can forgive him for 'blowing hot and cold' if he's had a temperature with his man 'flu.;) Have a great time and keep us updated. It's not totally OT, I think it may count as a NSV.MaddyWaddy wrote: »+2lb for me please - Week 1
I don't know what went wrong as I was good all week and have lost 2 inches off my waist. To say I was disappointed was an understatement.
Hope everyone else is doing ok x
Just do a beanie and keep plodding. I never found my weightloss was regular week on week, a mixture of gains, losses and STS that averaged into 1.5 a week. Hopefully all your good behaviour will catch up with you.I have had success with SW in the past but I could do lots of walking then and now due to illness, some days I don't even have the mobility to put my own knickers on!
In the past have thought SW not the best plan as I'm a greedy pig and being able to eat unlimited amounts is not helping me with my portion size.
Any suggestions please?
First, I have managed to get to target with virtually no exercise so I wouldn't worry about that. I think if you can do it, it helps for toning and general feel good factor but it's not essential.
Speaking a a greedy pig ;)I wouldn't worry too much about portion size. What really matters is not how much you're eating but that you're eating the right things. I'd say if you're doing EE be really careful to have your one third SFs and lean towards 'above the ground' veg rather than more starchy stuff like swede and sugary fruits. And consider a couple of days on Success Express so that you up the SFs to two thirds. Keep posting.:)0 -
Hope you have a great time tomorrow mildredd. If I was closer (maybe I am???) I'd offer to babysit DD so you could hit the town regularly.
Well done on creeping into target range beanie:T It'll be great motivation not to have to pay. Another saving to add to your debt freeness (is that a word?);)
DH found bag of LO nuts from Christmas and insisted on sharing them.:(
ETA: I'm 5ft 9 and my target weight is 10st 7lbs. When I was younger I was anything up to a stone lighter than that but although I keep dipping below target I think anything much below where I am might be 'scrawny'.0 -
If any of you are struggling atm there is a fab support group on Facebook called Slimming World Strugglers xI'd rather regret the things I've done than regret the things I haven't done.
