Every flippin week there is a total fuss made of me as well in front of the new members as I’ve lost the most weight – gets a bit embarrassing. Biggest loser this week as well!!
Congratulations on the biggest loser :T Does that mean you was slimmer of the week?SW member: 09/01/2014

If anyone is interested in getting an Actifry there is a code on the SW website for £100 off! Now's the time to buy if you were already going to get one.
Only wish I could afford one but just can't at the moment as recently bought an expensive set of saucepans, frypans etc! Can't justify any more money on kitchen gadgets - not that I'd have anywhere to put it as I'm running out of work surfaces now!

No its a thing SW are doing all over - but some clubs aren't for some reason. Its the person you has lost the most weight overall on their journey since they started.
Think you get a sash and a certificate - similar to being Miss Slinky last year - bit embarrassing0 -
Burn more fat than what you consume is the best way to lose weight. Having a balanced healthy diet is necessary0

Agree this is the best group ever!!:jI don't go to my group that often since I'm at target, perhaps every 2 to 3 weeks. I find that I mostly go to keep up with a few friends I've made, keep my access to the website and just to have reassurance that I'm still in target range. I've met some nice people but mainly they're either ones who keep re-joining or have been there for ages telling themselves that if they didn't go they'd be even fatter! I've tried encouraging them to follow the plan properly but it doesn't seem to help.
I've been thinking and I'm confident that although I always set out to do EE, most of my menus could just as easily be Green. That's because I've reduced the sizes of our meat portions for most midweek meals. I'm pleased as it means I could have some cheese as a snack if I fancied. I'm still going to stick with the third of F&V though as I think it's healthy.
Big discussions in the news today about whether to impose 'fat tax' or similar to prevent obesity. I heard a discussion about how much sugar in fruit juice, smoothies or even just too much fruit and then how much fat & sugar in processed food. I felt good as it makes you realise just how healthy SW is.;)
Today's definitely EE menu:
B: NAS Ribena, HEB toast, fried egg, HEA milk
L: lentil and veg soup2xhalf syn sausages, mash, carrots, onions, peas
Syns: gravy, squirt of sauce
I'm trying to up my water intake today as I've been bad at it lately. I know tea and coffee do count as liquids but I need to get the balance better.0 -

First weigh in today and I have lost 4lb - its my * week so I am happy with that.
I ordered a few of the slimming world books and they came today so will take a good look at those for some inspiration. Really missing crisps and white bread at the moment, I so want to go on a massive chocolate binge but I am resisting.
Yesterday Breakfast wholemeal toast hexB, banana, yoghurt>
Lunch left over lasagne, yoghurt, apple
Tea home made tuna and veg fish cakes, salad
Syns butter on toast 2, shape chocolate dessert 5.5
Drinks coffee using my HexA, pepsi max, NAS Cordial, diet lemonade.
Today I had yoghurt and banana for breakfast and had a thai noodle mug shot .5 syn for a snack.0 -
Maman - How long have you been at target?
SW is very healthy and I am one of those who have joined and re-joined ... This is the first time it has stuck and I have actually changed my habits .... I almost bit my husbands head off this morning when he suggested that I have oven chips done in the fryer ... Prefer to opt for my new potatoes (tinned) done in the HaloWith added veg
It is getting silly about the sugar tax ... I think the main problem is convenience food and eating out is getting cheaper than healthy cookingSW member: 09/01/2014
