Daisy,
You never know - don't rule it out until you hear. I have a friend went for a job recently that she didn't think she had a mission of getting and thought someone else was going to get in her work.
She ended up getting it and she only applied on a whim.
If its meant for you it won't go past you!!0 -

Mum has just text me from tesco to say they only choc pancake mix left so I've told her just to get it and I'm treating myself after today. Think its about 5 syns per pancake, which I can live with because I usually only eat about 8 a day. (Syns not pancakes!!!)
Good luck, got my fingers crossed for you.

Well, I tried the shape rhubarb crumble flavour, and it was nicer than your average yogurt, but IMO not as nice as the apple - although it had the flavour of rhubarb, it was as sweet as the apple and so missed the tang that rhubarb has.0

Lantanna - chill - seriously?! Pfft!
Tried some syn free pancakes tonight ahead of tomorrow being Shrove Tuesday. Not bad at all (served mine with chopped strawberries and a dollop of Activia Cherry yogurt).
Ingredients (makes 2 pancakes)
6 tbsp sweetener
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 egg
Fry Light
Instructions
Separate the egg yolk and egg white into separate bowls
Add 3 tbsp of sweetener to the egg white. Using an electric mixer, whisk up the egg white until it makes stiff peaks
Add the vanilla extract and the rest of the sweetener to the egg yolk and mix well.
Fold the egg yolk into the egg white mixture
Spray a pan with Fry Light and pour half the mixture into the pan. After a few minutes flip the pancake over,
Take the pancake out a few minutes later, and repeat the cooking process with the rest of the mixture.
Serve them up with your favourite pancake topping and enjoy!
Thanks for posting this. Just tried them and they worked really well! Had then with banana and a sneaky squirt of chocolate sauce - yummy!0 -
Ahhh thanks guys!! I scoffed some pancake (only one, I ran out of mix they were such a shambles!!) and it was lush. Estimating 5 syns and I have no idea what the maple syrup syns are so I'm going to guess......0!! :rotfl:
I don't know about anyone else but I'm finding that this board is a much bigger support to me than being in group. Don't get me wrong, my consultant is fab and I wouldn't be back on plan without her, but planning my days and chatting to everyone in here is much more beneficial to keeping me on plan than going to group. Think I'm just going to stick to weigh and go from now on, group bores me to death!!0 -
First weigh in tonight and I lost an awesome 7lbs :j
