Well yesterday definitely turned into a fairly high syn day, but not as high as expected!

I ended up having a Red day although it wasn't originally planned:

    B - bacon, egg, mushrooms, 50g beans (2 syns)
    L - KFC 3 chicken strips (9 syns!)
D - HM fish pie (at DDs); (HEA & HEB for cheese sauce + HEB for pots); potatoes mashed with soft cheese (2 syns); small custard slice from Iceland (6.5 syns)

    HEA2 - milk in tea
    Total syns: 19.5

    Having another Red day today:

    B - bacon sandwich
L - crabstick salad (over half the plate was salad!)
D - Roast pork, potatoes (HEB), green beans, broccoli, gravy (2) (will use 1 tsp of granules)
HEA - milk in tea throughout the day
    HEB1 - bread
    HEB2 - potatoes

    Syns: Gravy granules 2

Will probably have an ice lolly tonight for another 3 syns and/or pink and white 2.5 syns. That should help a bit with going over at the weekend!

    Denise

Have just input food into online food diary for yesterday and found that cheese isn't an HEB on a Red day only on Green or EE:( so had more syns than I'd previously worked out have reworked it out and it was actually 24.5 syns not 19.5! So a few extra to take into account between now and Wednesday - looks like I'll be over again this week and put on again. Oh well - that's life!

    Afternoon All!

Latanna, glad to see you are feeling more positive :)

Has anyone tried any of the meat from Joes Sausages? I've ordered myself a batch of sausages and burgers as I'm mainly doing red days at the moment. I'm really impatient and I guess really hoping someone will tell me they've tried them and that they are great haha!

    xx

    Piglet - Re Sausages

I'm very excited as we can now get Slender Choice Sausages here. They are Irish and the Spars are selling them here. They have a website that you can order online as well. Think they might be coming out in the rest of the UK later in the year.

The pork leek and black pepper are amazing and only half a syn each.

Never had Joes - I've never been able to get any low syn sausages at all in any of my supermarkets - so glad I can get the Slender Choice ones!

Latanna - I agree with others that have said let him chase you and see how you feel then. He's just one man - there will be plenty out there who would have behaved/responded in the appropriate way - ill or not. Don't let it get to you. I am a firm believer in fate - if its meant to be it will be - if not then see whats around the corner.;)

Mildredd - Get that signature updated!! Is your group doing Greatest Loser this week? Mine is and I assume it will be me............... Bit mortifying all the same - didn't really enjoy being Miss Slinky - as I felt far from slinky at the time lol.

I don't actually have a pic of me at my heaviest - the first one I have is of me nearly two stone below my starting weight - I got to the stage where I never wanted to be photographed etc lol

Now I have to say I love it and always have the camera out etc. It just totally amazes me sometimes to see the changes in myself. Maman said something similar about being surprised when she saw a slim lady staring back in the photos!

Yes back to the positivity - he can wander around trying to find someone who would be as nice to him as me lol. The problem is all his as I have not done anything wrong!! I will return to my life with gusto lol xx

I agree with everyone else ... I think games are for when you are teenagers :(

I would let him chase but if these are the games he plays before you have a date sounds like you have had a lucky escape :o

That's true, I looked at the photo and thought 'who's that slim lady with the messy hair?' We're never satisfied!:rotfl:

I can't remember if it was Joe's sausages but there used to be SW approved sausages round here that were syn free/low syn and very yummy. Many were made from minced chicken. They were for sale on market stalls and a few butchers and at our group and had proper SW banners over them. Then they lost the SW accreditation and it all stopped so I think they must have gone out of business. There was talk at the time that SW just didn't want anyone to make money out of them and the recipe hadn't changed. Who knows? I'm lucky in that I'm perfectly happy with the half syn Sainsbury's sausages.

Made a big pot of curry this afternoon. Unlike many of the people on OS who can get 50 meals out of one chicken I'm dreadful. We have one meal and then every time I go to the fridge I pick at it until it's all gone. So I decided to make curry before I got the chance. A bit of an adapted recipe as had no passata so used chopped toms and some puree but hopefully it will be fine.

    Well hello!

7lb for the challenge for me please.

    EE day today

Breakfast - trimmed bacon, poached egg, tomatoes and mushrooms done in fry light

Dinner - Tuna pasta salad, apple, pear, mugshot

    Tea - SW spaghetti bolognese

    HEXA Milk
    HEXB Alpen bars

Syns - 1 syn mayo, 2 syns Italian hard cheese, 2.5 on ONE measly milk tray chocolate AND 2 on ONE measly after eight, not happy when I looked those up!

Going to have 2 more syns on an options before bed.

Did half an hour exercise today plus my usual walking, so feeling quite virtuous.

All go in Top World lately including dipping a tentative toe back into the dating game, Lantanna, we'll have to swap tales.

Went out with a friend of a friend on Friday and had a wonderful, ridiculously high in syns evening
