Frogga – Hope you enjoyed those mini eggs but you are not allowed to have them until next Easter now!!
Mrs Ryan – Glad to hear the knicker shopping was successful – I’m still in my buckets lol. Great shopping haul – bet you felt great. :T
Mildredd – What else are you meant to do when you are in Frankie & Bennys! Lol. Hope you enjoyed it but are back on plan now J
Forgot to say I got Slimmer of the Month last week in my group – which for me at this stage of the game is very good!!
So my black dog has returned - not feeling very happy! :( So the date was cancelled and I just have a gut feeling that he’s not sick and has just changed his mind. I asked him did he want to just leave things and he said no - but by not getting in touch it would seem that way. Anyway what can I do I’m not texting him so if I haven’t heard from him by Wednesday I’ll be deleting his number. Its all games and silliness isn’t it. I just wish people would be honest. Maybe I’m not in the right place at the minute for all this – if it knocks me down so badly. Guess the problem is I don’t like myself so how can I expect anyone else too. I have always had severe confidence issues – funnily enough just in general and nothing to do with my weight! Think I have chronic pmt as well – which never helps me! I have that awful stirring anxious feeling in my stomach which some of you will probably know what I'm talking about and could burst into tears at any moment! He was so so keen until the FB incident & alleged sickness - its no wonder I feel like crap!
Anyway away to lie under a rock somewhere and cry lol. Forcing myself to go to kettlebells tonight as the exercise will probably do me good.
    Todays menu is looking like:
B: Muller Light & Mango Slices
L: 2 Slices of Nimble (HE) & Heinz Beans Snap pot.
Dinner – No idea as of yet!

WI this morning Week 1, 1lb loss Doesn't seem a lot for all the effort. Still, a loss is a loss.

Sorry for short post - just nipped on between classes!

Well done Sea bee & Trow.

    Morning all,

Latanna - sorry to hear you are feeling low. Don't let one silly person put you off, he sounds like he wasn't worth the worry.

I had an unofficial weigh in this morning, and I am definitley 2 lbs lighter than last week, but will see what the 7pm official weigh in states! I'm really chuffed though, the first week was hard as I have been out for 2 meals and stayed a good girl.

Last night I discovered a lovely low syn treat. I was feeling peckish, so poured out a bowl of frozen fruit. It needed a bit of "something" so I had a bit of quark left, and used half a sachet of Aldi low fat hot choc. MMMMmmmmmmm, very creamy and just what I needed.

Good luck everyone weighing in today.

Thanks Michele - It was just the total turn around that has done my head in.

    Wish people were just honest.

Really annoys me that I have said shall we just leave it and he said no but clearly that's how it is looking. Aaaah

No, I haven't had those, what do you do? just throw the chicken into some diet fanta and cook? sounds strange but interesting.

    Diet Coke Chicken...

2 Chicken Breasts - diced (or thigh meat if preferred)
    1 onion chopped
1 can of diet coke or 330ml
    splash of Worcester Sauce
    1 - 2 tsp of chinese 5 spice
    6 tbsp passata
    chicken oxo cube
    sprinkle of garlic salt (optional)
    chilli powder to taste (optional)

Brown the chicken and onion, then wack everything else in and simmer for 30 mins approx till it's a bit sticky.

Diet Fanta Chicken (like sweet and sour cantonese style)...

    Chicken strips (around 2 breasts)
1 onion cut into large chunks
1 can or 330ml of diet fanta (or other diet orange crush not orangeaid)
    3 tbsp of passata
    1 vegetable oxo cube
    1 tbsp vinegar
    dried chilli flakes to taste
2 peppers cut into large chunks (I usually have one red one green)
1 Fresh pineapple (if using tinned add syns)

Cook the chicken, add onion till it starts to soften. Add fanta, passata, oxo cube, vinegar, chilli and peppers then cook for around 30 mins till thick. Right at the very end add the pineapple and warm through but do not continue to cook the pineapple otherwise even fresh pineapple will need to be synned.

Both are lovely served with plain rice or push the boat out and serve with egg fried!!

    Finally enjoy! :)

Lantanna well done on Slimmer of the Month, great news :T

Hopefully things could still work out with the date, it may be that he is actually ill, you know how this man flu thing is, they can be layed up for weeks!! :rotfl: I hope you feel better soon, it's awful when everything seems to get on top of you, I'm (hopefully) just coming to the end of what I can honestly say has been the worst year or so of my life. You have lots of friends and support on here and we are always willing to lend a shoulder, chin up girl you are stronger than you think xxx

Is that free? I generally have 0% Total as a cream substitute.
    .

Yes its free, I didnt have it with the cheesecake at all, planned to have it as I had made SF jelly for after dinner yesterday but was so stuffed I didnt have it.

Macpep - I haven't seen the recipe for the cheesecake but I've never really been able to get along with SW desserts.. have you ever made one before? I'd just keep your expectations of it pretty low and it should be fine ;) if on the other hand it's gorgeous and tastes like real cheesecake then let us know cos we'll all be making it!

It was surprisingly good, not a creamy texture but passable. Imade the one on the SW website, Berry burst but I made it with strawberry jelly & strawberry yoghurt rather than raspberry & vanilla. I had to throw the rest out though as only myself & hubby eat cheesecake & cheesecake is my 'thing' :rotfl:

Macpec we have spent some time earlier today updating your spread sheet with some of our own recipes and adding them to the shopping lists. I'm sure this is going to be a fantastic tool that we are going to use an awful lot in the future. Thanks again :T

Your welcome, I now have all my SW recipes on it & I can just add any new ones easily, saves so much time!

Mrs R - I too went knicker shopping yesterday, & I got mine from Pradamark :rotfl:I am sure thats the same as Primani :rotfl:.
Lantanna - Sorry to hear of your date cancelling, please dont let it get you down, your posts always seem so positive, hope you are feeling a bit more upbeat now x

Well I had a busy weekend, hair done, hairdresser tried to talk me out of new colour but I was having none of it.......I HATED it  ( I go through a phase of having my hair the same for ages & then drastically changing it) she had to tone it down a bit but now my roots have a slight orange tinge, she did warn me but did I listen???
Went a 5.4 mile walk at 7.15 yesterday morning followed by taking DS ice skating  I am in agony today as it was his first time & he had spaghetti legs so spent most of the time lifting him up, he did however enjoy it! Who else was ice skating ??? Saw it but cannot remember :o.

Not sure if I will have a loss, prob a gain, * week appeared yesterday & I am very bloated.

Has anyone ever used those vibrating plate machines, I joined up for a month last week but you need to wait a few weeks before seeing results, apparantly a 10 minute shoogle is equivalent to a 1 hour gym workout....We shall see

    EE Menu

    B - Melon, Blueberries, Strawberries
L - Speed Soup, Melon, blueberries, strawberries, kiwi
D - (After Weigh in) HM Spicy Turkey Burger on HEB roll & HEA cheese with SW chips & Salad
    S - 2 x plums
