Mojoworking Its quorn chilli, over quorn hotdogs with grated cheese melted on the top. The cheese is HEX and theres 2 syns in the chilli, 1/5 syn per hotdog. Its absolutely lush, I only thought of it last week. I'm sure you could have it as a meat version too but I have no idea what the syns of that would be.

    Bore da/good morning everyone!

Just had the most delicious brunch - eggy bread, bacon, mushrooms, beans - yummy!

Got lots of work to do on the computer today. This is usually when I would binge on crisps, chocolates and sweets. So, I will take some fat free yogurt and fruit up to my desk with me so that I am prepared.

Going to attempt steak and ale pie tonight (but I won't have the pastry). I think I found the beer online and it is 72 cals per bottle, so I will allow 2 syns for my half plus a few for the gravy granules. Going to have mine with mash, mangetout, carrots and maybe leeks.

Hope you are all having a good day.

Afternoon all, big BIG hugs to those in need, my heart goes out to you all:A

Well done to all the losers :T:T

I weighed in with a STS so that's my starting point for the challenge.

Question - are there any gluten free foods that are HEXs please?

Am wondering if I'm gluten/wheat intolerant so planning on going for the blood test. Was diagnosed IBS several years ago but talking to a colleague who has recently been diagnosed coeliac my symptoms are like hers so she recommends going for the test. Will talk to my Dr WHEN I can get an appointment (nightmare at our surgery).
If I need to go gluten free, are all g/free foods free on SW does anyone know? Ie pasta, noodles etc
Is anyone on here coeliac/intolerant? Any information sites recommended?
    Hope someone can help :A
    Thanks in advance :A:A

Hi mumoftwo - I used the Schwartz perfect shake piri-piri seasoning. I also have the other Scwartz one - it looks to be finer, but if that's what you've got I'd give it a go.

I also agree with lucky-legs re the diet coke chicken - very tasty too.

    :wave:hi tie.

I've had a quick look at the HEB list for EE and there are lots of bread options. I haven't heard of them so maybe it'll be a case of where you can track them down:
    • 1 BFree multigrain wrap
    • Glutafin bread
    • Glutafin part baked white roll
    • Glutafin fibre bread roll
    • Juvela bread
    • Genius Foods bread
and it said 35g of any gluten free cereal.

I noticed that all Doves Farm pasta was free so expect that's true of any.

Whatever you do, don't buy a GF chocolate muffin in M&S caf!, they're 26.5 syns each!

My mother suffered with IBS and that seemed to be triggered by stress. Do you think that might be the same for you?

Thanks :) we are probably going shopping again today so I wonder if I will be as good :rotfl: happy birthday for next week, when is it? Mine is on the 10th :)

My birthday's on 12th.:) so I expect a few syns will be consumed that day.;)

    My EE plan for today:
B: NAS Ribena, HEB toast, scrambled eggs, HEA milk for teas
L: finish pasta salad and maybe banana (basically grazing until supper time)
D: roast chicken potatoes and parsnips, cauli, broccoli, swede & carrot mash
Syns: squirt of sauce, gravy, maybe a little bit of stuffing and wine syns:D

    Hi Maman :hello:
Thanks for the info, I have bought GF spagg and I got a GF baguette for a school trip on Friday (probably massive syns as not HE) which was really nice (surprisingly). Have also bought rice noodles as they are GF anyway.
I know stress is a big factor in IBS and yes I've had my fair share recently but things like pasta, noodles and bread trigger stomach pain so that's making me think it could be something other than IBS. Probably nothing but will get it checked anyway.

Mine's the 10th too.. we're birthday buddies!! We're off for a meal at TGI Fridays.. low syn then!

Struggling this weekend and week in general.. bah.. i'm on for a gain this week, not starting the challenge off well again! This is definitely the scenic, winding road way for me this time.

On a positive note, got the slimming world pulled pork cooking and it smells delicious, we're having it with sweet potato, corn and salad so at least this meal is on track.

I've re-jigged the table so it's alphabetical, it's easier to find you all.. Give me a shout if I've missed any of you..

Can I please join in the challenge. As I'm relatively new to this and have a holiday in the middle I will set what I think is a realistic target of -4lb
    Thank you x
