  • Morning folks, how is the weekend going for you? I'll have to catch up with the weekends posts later.
    First weigh in today...
    -3lb
That's a good enough start for me! Got this far before here's hoping we keep going in the right direction. Looking forward to my wine reward this evening.

No idea what I'll be eating today as we are going out shopping later - need some new T-shirts as haven't bought any for ages so they're all getting a bit tatty now!

Will have something before we go but not sure what yet but will probably be another fry up.

Lunch will be had while we're out so I'm hoping I can find somewhere I can get a jacket potato with beans & side salad but can't remember seeing anywhere like that last time we were there (about 2 years ago I think).

Dinner will be at DD1s and will be fish pie so some syns there for cheese sauce.

Only definite thing will be HEA - milk as usual in tea throughout the day!

Will post tomorrow what I ended up having!

    Have a good day everyone.

Im being a bit naughty today with my plan.

Breakfast - I'm making pancakes for the kids, so I'm going to do the add a mashed banana to an egg pancake for me, and serve with vanilla yogurt, and I'm not going to syn the banana.

Lunch is going to be hot smoked salmon and salad, haven't worked out the syns for the coleslaw yet. Green day, so 85g of salmon. I get locally produced broken hot smoked salmon for very cheap, so its not as extravagant as it sounds!

Dinner will be veggie chilli and rice. Depending on time I might have to use microwave rice, so I'll syn that too.

Hex's will probably be Alpen lights or ryvita minis, and I'll add some grated cheese to my salad.

Talking of pancakes, I have decided that I'm giving up being off plan for Lent, so hopefully that will see me suceed in the challenge!

    Hello

I've just joined Slimming World online. I've never done it before, so it's all new to me.

I don't want to do the quick start plan, as I dont' want to have go do a massive shop.

I see there are original and green days, but I can't see where it explains to me what they actually are.

    Can someone help please?

    Thanks

Green, Red and Extra Extra Easy. They focus so much on the Extra Easy because it fits so well in to so many ways of life.

Don't worry, it takes a few weeks for it to all fall into place.

    Fab - thank you!

I was getting confused searching the site.

I think I was panicking as I wanted to eat my breakfast :-)

    Thanks for your help!

Thanks for the chicken suggestions Mildredd and Greentiger. Piri piri chicken sounds good, what spices do you use to make that (I have Schwartz piri piri in a jar, would that do?)

Away to make Morrisons low fat sausages for everyone to have on a roll. I think I will stick mine on a mini subroll with some fried mushrooms and onions.

    Have a great Sunday

Had my first weigh in and have lost 1 3/4lb not too bad really as next week is star week and I always struggle the week before besides the fact I'm not strictly following the plan. So I'm happy with that :j

It's my birthday next week too so I identified with your thinking. Bags are a good spend when you're losing weight so maybe you should have gone for that but Martin would be proud of you.

I have a Helly Hanson waterprrof jacket that used to be very 'snug' and I'd end up borrowing DH's mansize one instead. I'm telling you this as now my own fits me fine so it's really so worth persevering with the plan

Thanks :) we are probably going shopping again today so I wonder if I will be as good :rotfl: happy birthday for next week, when is it? Mine is on the 10th :)

Morning all, well I nipped into the pub for "one drink" after the interview on Friday, got in at daft o'clock, didn't have any tea and have no idea how many syns I drank but it was a lot!! Interview went pretty good though I think, only thing that might stump me is the fact that I'm way over qualified for the job but I think I managed to address that ok, will find out in next couple of days if I am through to "Stage 2".

Yesterday was total write off thanks to Mcdonalds and 2 indivdual bottles of Bru for the hangover!! Back on the wagon today though, long walk this afternoon will hopefully get me back on track.

Lantanna let us kno/w what happened with the date! I met a guy in the pub on Fri, he was bloody gorgeous and somehow I got his phone number but now I am too chicken to text him

    Today is Green.......

Breakfast: Weetabix, banana and milk (HEXA and HEXB)
Lunch: Jacket potato and beans, cheese
Tea: Chilli Cheese Dogs with rice ( This is fridays tea which is still in the freezer!!!!)

Gonna treat myself to something choclatey for the syns I think, my head is still pounding today!!

Are pancakes high in syns? I've just realised thats this week

Have a great day folks xxx
