Tazzyb, welcome, and join in when you can. There's always someone here to help, support or just be there when you need it.
Welshkitty, welcome along also, nice to have you on board.
Mildredd - we're off to St. Ives, where we've been before. OH and I love it there, and if we could, we'd retire there, but can't see £ allowing for that, so we'll holiday there instead. We're lucky that the place we stay is right near the harbour, a couple of lanes away from the high st. shops, and spitting distance from 3 beaches. Can't wait!!
Lantanna, good to hear the date could be back on, and give the fella the benefit of the doubt with the man-flu, and see how things go from there. I like the sound of him being nice and tall, rugby-ish.
Well today has been a funny old one so far. I started off in the usual way, and then got tempted by 1 slice of white bread. There must be something in it akin to crack cocaine, because I swear to you I have been craving food, and bad stuff ever since I ate it. Have actually felt a bit jittery too, so no idea what it did to me, but not having it again, no siree bob! Anyway, I got so bad I had 2 bites of a Double Decker bar I found in a cupboard. I never usually get like this, so can only put it down to the bread triggering something.
Food plan today: EE
B - Danio yogurt (1), banana, apple
L - Bacon sandwich (Heb) + (6)
Snack - 1/2 double decker (7)
D - Ham, leek, mushroom papardelle pasta, with chive philly (2)
Snack - WW yogurt, Muller yogurt (0.5)
HeA - milk in teas
That puts me over my syn count for the day at 16.5. Just as well I'm usually under on the other days.
Right, better get that dinner cooked before I eat the rest of that Double Decker bar!:cool:One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing
Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home0 -
Sw hash browns
- peel and grate a potato (squeeze excess liquid out of potatoes) leave to dry for a few mins , (i now add finely chopped red onion yk mine?) add a beaten egg and let it sit for a few mins shape into rounds or hashbrown shapes (u do have to sort of squeeze some of the egg out of the grated potato) then I just add mine to a fry lighted pan and let them brown on either side then I make sure there fully cooked by putting in the ovenxx can add cheese to the raw mix if its a main meal accompaniment?
Ooh thanks will have to give them a try!Debt free 2018

Hey yes! I actually used to and then sort of got out of the way of it!!! Must start again!
Here is todays Menu
B: WW Yogurt, 2 Kiwis & a Hi Fi Bar
L: Mug Shot (not usually this but wasn't organised today)
Another WW Yogurt (would normally have been pasta & cold meat with a big salad or something like that or a hm stew with beans)Fat free Supernoodles, Chicken, Soy Sauce, Green beans, onions, mushrooms & peppers (lots of them) lol
Syns - Wine:eek: & Hi fi Bar (HE) & 2 Baby Bel light (HE)
A very very random event to be having wine!!!!!!!!!! I'm almost scared to have it lol
I normally save most of my syns too Welsh Kitty - and go slightly off kilter at the weekends !
GBatey -
In general I eat a lot of SW Chips, baked beans, bacon, Linda McCartney Sausages, Xtra Lean Mince, Salad, Omelettes, Pasta based meals, Nimble Bread, Chicken, baked potatoes, HM Stews & Bolognese etc.
I live alone so whatever I have for dinner I normally make double so that I can take the other half to work the next day!!
I make nimble pizzas and have them quite a lot with lots of salad.
Oats are good for Breakfast - Magic Porridge is great and really filling!
With the Fruit, I don't really vary much from Mango, Pineapple, Melon & Kiwis!
I have a least one yogurt a day and always use my syns - crisps, alcohol & Chinese mainly
I love making a big salad for lunch with cold meats, boiled eggs, pickles, lots of veg and a bit of cheese etc - I find the more different things that I have on my plate the less bored I get and I feel like I am getting more.
I'm really into Ryvitta Minis at the minute as my (HE) - due to Mildredd alerting me to them lol.
If you are struggling a wee bit - have a look at your superfrees and try up these and slightly reduce the portions of the free stuff such as potatoes etc. Controversial but it works!!
Everyone is different but I find it works better for me if I have the superfrees with my main meal i.e salad or veg on the plate as opposed to having my dinner and then having fruit etc after.
I get through a heck of a lot of lettuce!!
I love roasted veg as well - red onion, peppers, onion roasted in the oven in fry light.
Don't get disheartened as my signature may look impressive but I have definitely had those periods where nothing seems to shift and I get very frustrated with the whole thing and then I get a weird week where I drop a shed load lol. Seems to be the way it goes with me!!
I've stopped on the Pasta & Sauce and that kind of thing as I seemed to struggle when I was eating them - I think the less processed foods the better really - for me anyway. Those supernoodles have been lounging in the cupboard for yonks so that is why they are on the menu tonight!!
Hope this helps!!
Thanks so much for this! I always seem to go two steps forward and three back so wondered how you had managed your great losses!
Good luck with the date ;-)Debt free 2018

Maman can I just ask you, we haven't really spoken about the plans in my group just EE - it was someone on here who advised me to do green and my leader agreed but I haven't actually spoken to her about it. The way I've read it in the book is 1xHEA 2xHEXB and another HEXA if required.......the list of HEXB's in the books includes a list of cheese so I've been counting that as my second HEXB. Have I got this wrong somewhere? I kept checking because I kept thinking I had got it wrong, it doesn't seem right to me but thats def what the book says for Green Plan. (Hope this post makes sense!!)
A Green (or Red) Day is 2 HEAs and 2 HEBs. On a Green Day you can have cheese as a HEB because of a usual lack of protein in a vegetarian diet, however you do not need to have cheese, you can have anything that is listed as a HEB - eg cereal, bread, hifi bars, ryvita etc etc.
To give you an idea, today I have had 70g of weetabix minis. This is actually 2 HEBs worth as 35g is one HEB, but isn't a bery big portion. As one HEA I had 250ml semi skimmed milk (to go with cereal), and for the other I had 30g of parmesan (in a risotto at lunchtime).
Yesterday I had one slice of 800g wholemeal with breakfast and a HiFi bar later in the day as a snack. They were my 2 HEBs. For tea I had a bolognaise bake and used 60g of Red Leicester on top which is 2 lots of HEA (30g each).
However, if you wanted to make something really cheesy like maccaroni cheese for example, you could have both HeA and both HEB as cheese, as long as everything else that day was free food (or syns).
Hope that helps XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

I can't wait to start the new challenge! Thanks Shala.
It has been a busy week. Someone had brought in a huge tray with cupcakes at work today but I didn't have one, thank goodness the bright blue icing on the top put me off
We are having a super quick and easy tea tonight and I have bought some Uncle Benz rice pouches for myself in Tesco. I have never used them before. I just looked them up in my directory and it says: Express Thai sweet chilli rice 2 syns per 250g pouch
the pouch I bought doesn't say the word "express" on it though, it just says special and then underneath: thai sweet chilli rice.
Have I bought the wrong thing? Would hate to eat it and it being lots of syns
I am going to catch up on this fast moving thread at my leisure tonight. Mrs Ryan, so sorry for your loss
I think the Uncle Ben's express rice pouches are the microwaveable ones. They don't all say express, some say classic, some say microwaveable XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Phew!! Thought I had misunderstood, been totally worried I would get it wrong somewhere. Makes a big difference to me getting the extra HEXA / HEXB0 -
Thanks for the lovely welcome everybody. I feel at home here already!
That roast was just what I needed! I have counted it as 5 syns as I treated myself to a yorkshire pud, had a little gravy and used a little low fat spread. It was well worth it though! I am treating myself to a small glass of rose topped up with diet lemonade (don't tell my dad - he would tell me off for ruining good wine!).
I'm definitely going to try working the syns over a week. This will be especially helpful as I am going to paris in just under a fortnight, so as long as I save my syns until I am away, I can indulge a little. I love the idea of a syn bin too!0 -
Glam top lantanna. I've become a recent convert to shellac nails. they stay looking amazing for anything up to three weeks.Maman can I just ask you, we haven't really spoken about the plans in my group just EE - it was someone on here who advised me to do green and my leader agreed but I haven't actually spoken to her about it. It is confusing and I can't see why the consultants don't talk about all the plans. Green is especially suitable for veggies and mixing up the plans every now and again is good for everyone. To try to answer your question: on EE (which is what I do mostly) all cheese is a HEXA while I just checked online and there's cheese on both HEXA and B. So you're not wrong. I know it says you can have two HEXAs 'if required' but don't stint yourself, if you want them have them!
Sorry to have misled you:o. Just keep asking and we'll happily look up whatever you want..

That's fine it says Special thai sweet chilli rice on line and it's definitely 2 syns.
Whoever asked about Onken fat free it's syn free if it's natural yogurt but the flavoured ones vary between 5 and 8 syns for a pot.Tomorrow is March 1st. Sort of first day of Spring. I need to stop bingeing because I just keep farting about, being good for a week, bingeing for a week etc. Got to stop it!
I'm nor surprised with all the beans you eat!:rotfl:
Good to have you back frogga.0
