Ah lantanna I can definitely recommend putting a pair of your old 20's on- it's a massive confidence boost. I tried on the dress I wore to last years awards ball, which is a 22 and was tight at the waist when I wore it... It hung like a limp dishrag all over when I tried it on! I'm keeping it though as my size 22 best mate likes it so she's going to take it off my hands- her dress this year is the same colour so I've given her the size 22 cream shrug that I wore last year to wear this year. She did say bless her that she's worried about looking like a giant round blueberry next to me so I think I should take that as a compliment! :rotfl: off knicker shopping today :D but will pop by later as I'm off to Mum's tomorrow where the data coverage is lousy and the wifi only works in the front room! :(
Have a good day all xx

I often have a few potatoes with my lunch to fill me up. Ideally LO from previous day but latest lazy method is slicing Aldi tinned potatoes. They fry up really well.

I thought you have a night out planned for tomorrow mildredd. Have you planned the outfit?

I don't trust myself to weigh at home (I know I'd get obsessive) so I use my jeans as a guide and most days I check myself in a full length mirror. Vain I know but I find it motivates me to keep in check and it helped me coming to terms with my re-discovered slim shape. It's generally early morning or late at night in bra and pants. Please don't try this in Pizza Hut MrsR!

I've got as far as planning tonight's supper and I'm going to make extra roasted veg for a pasta salad while I'm at it.
Then need to do my meal plan for the week and a food shop.

    Today's EE menu:
B: NAS Ribena, 2 boiled eggs, HEB toast, HEA milk for teas
L: lentil and veg soup a probable unless I'm out then I'll snack on fruit
D: HM burgers, roasted veg, peas, SW wedges
Syns: weekend wine:j, squirt of sauce with burgers
  • Morning all,

Mrs Ryan glad you had a good day yesterday

Lantanna yes I did enjoy my bourbon, I might just have another one this evening...well it is Friday :rotfl:

    Todays plan...

B - 2 weetabix, banana, cup of tea

    S - Pickled egg

L - ryvita and egg mayo OR tomatoes on 2 x toast

EM - SW style fry up

Hope you all have a good day x
  • Wow.....a couple of days away from the thread and so much to catch up on!! Welcome to all the noobs, congrats everyone on losses and good news, too much to comment on individually.

WI last night I lost 4lbs :j:j which I was delighted about, been out walking most days plus the end of * week has made a huge difference to me. However booked a weeks all inclusive to Tenerife yesterday for the end of March so will need to be very well behaved beforehand because I can see it being carnage when I'm away in terms of eating and drinking!!

Also have job interview this afternoon, its for a job at the local bingo!! It's only part time but I've applied to go back to college after the summer so this would work out perfectly for that. Fingers crossed because I would be on my feet all the time so that would def help the losses as well.

    Today is a green day......

B: Weetabix, milk, banana (HEXA & HEXB)
L: 2x mugshot, fruit and yog
D: Chilli cheese dogs, rice (cheese is HEXB2)

Snacks: Choc mousse (6) Hifi Bar (6) yog and sf jelly

    Have a great day guys!!xx

Thanks to all who welcomed me- it really feels like a nice supportive thread. And more importantly- people who are in the trenches and are digging in, despite the troubles we all encounter at times.
Go for it- we can all chip away and make a difference for the dreaded SUMMER!!
  • Afternoon All,

Sorry I've taken ages catching up!

MrsRyan sending you massive hugs. I'm so sorry to hear of your loss, but glad to see you are finding the positives :) Well done again on your brilliant loss so far!

Well done to all of you with great losses this week :)

I'm very pleased to say after my big 3lb gain last week, I lost 4.5lbs last night at weigh in and got my stone award :) So glad I rushed back from my meeting to rush through the door at 9:30pm to weigh in :)

I hope everyone has some nice things planned for the weekend, be good! xx
