Well done all our other losers, keep going the rest of us.
Review of Thursday's plan
started out as a great day, so you know that's not good
Breakfast: bacon, egg & tomatoes & mushrooms
Lunch: roast pork & salad sandwich (hexb, if I remember to buy a wee wholemeal loaf!) - and I did! , banana
Went to mind grandson who was off school ill. He was no bother BUT a cracker of a headache kicked in (not a migraine, thank goodness, or I'd not be here doing this now! Didn't have any painkillers. Came home and fell asleep on sofa, so disaster followed)
Dinner:campfire stew with mustard mash (1) & green beans, ff yogurt & kiwi Husband either felt sorry for me or he was starving - take your pick - and made me an unbuttered roll "because I know you're watching what you eat" (6) and sausages (not the Quorn ones, of course, REAL beef links (8),which were exceedingly tasty I must say. In my defence, I did have the yogurt.
Snacks today: 1 Cadbury caramel biscuit (3.5) and 1 choc digestive (3)
Total 20.5 syns
Friday's plan
Breakfast: fruit & yogurt
Lunch: 3 hexb original Ryvita, hexa 2 x 35g tubs Philadelphia Light Soft Cheese, smoked salmon, baby plum tomatoes, kiwi - fruit (lest you think I'm being greedy by having a giant bird!)
Dinner: gingered turkey noodles, including sweetcorn, sugar snap peas, carrots, red pepper and broccoli, Hartley's 10 jelly

Thanks for the encouragement Sary I have around 20 weeks until hubby is home, and on an average loss of 2lbs per week I could be close to my target. I have a grand total of 46lbs to lose so it is extremely doable. I just have to remain focussed.0 -

Thanks again to anyone I missed in my last post- today has been a little bit easier but I keep thinking about little jokes my friend and I had and I get choked up but I haven't cried today which I suppose is something- still feel numb.
I went into town with OH today and I'm now the owner of contact lenses! I remember my friend remarking how different I looked with glasses when I saw her last so I think my contacts would have really foxed her
I had a lightbulb moment last night- I have no recent pictures of myself but I took a selfie in the mirror in Pizza Hut the other day :rotfl: which I hadn't looked at- but I saved the picture of myself that first made me determined to lose weight. I looked at them alongside each other and I can't believe the difference- like I never realised how much weight I have actually lost and I'm so surprised that I've managed to do it! Also I happened to wander into Evans today and when I was leaving there was a dress on a rail by the door in my old size. I said to OH I can't believe that once that would have been tight as it seemed huge to me.. I was saying to my best mate the other day that it feels like the old me is still inside me and is keep telling me I still need to dress to hide my figure.. Buying clothes had become a nightmare!
Free2Go day today. I had planned to be good but then an evil rogue pot of coleslaw and a slice of garlic bread tempted me :rotfl:

Cup of coffee with s/s milk
L: Jacket potato with chilli, coleslaw, slice of garlic bread (these were my 'treats'- allowed something naughty every day) Diet Pepsi
Snack: Co-op sweet chilli chicken noodle salad, cup of coffee, NAS cordial
T: Quorn peppered steaks, Uncle Ben's Thai sweet chilli rice, steamed mixed veg, fresh blackberries and strawberries, Mullerlight x 2, NAS cordial.
The syn content wouldn't have been all that bad- about 20.5 so I could have flexi synned but decided to count it as Free2Go as I will be on EE now till Tuesday.
Body magic: walk round shops, 3.6 miles total.

Well done you too lantanna. I don't do FB but those that do don't seem to find it any big deal to 'take liberties'. He probably didn't mean to be pushy but I agree he sounds a bit close to home for a bit of a fling. Keep us posted.
I've had a really good day today after 2 days involving flexi meals. Missed WI today as I had an early meeting but although feeling a bit podgy all clothes still fit fine. Meal planning tomorrow and probably just one flexi meal tbc. so should be able to rein back any gains.
Today's EE menu:
B: HEB Shreddies with HEA milk
L: banana and grazed on cold beefSW Bolognese
Syns: scrape of parmesan which if I hadn't had cereal could have been in my HEA

Just signed up for online gold plan. Have a massive amount of weight to lose 71 kilos to lose to get me just inside the white zone on the slimming world bmi chart.
For years I have wanted to lose weight but never had the motivation to actually do anything about it. Had a beautiful baby boy 12th of Jan 2013. Want to become healthy for him so now is the time to go for it.
Super busy so will not manage to check on this thread every day. Hope that is okay.0 -

Planning on Chicken Curry (allowing syns for mango chutney) for dinner this eve, and using up left overs for lunch.
So far so good, salvaged the over used syns by only using 10 yesterday.

Sary – Nope no communication at all and he has been online so he’s just ignoring me now – well as you say – his loss. But I am a bit flippin miffed and this all just goes to remind me why I don’t flippin bother! Laughing at the harpoon comment btw!! :rotfl: Remind yourself how lucky you are everyday to have a lovely man – you too Mrs Ryan J and that you don’t have to go through this nonsense anymore. :eek:
Mildredd – It was Plenty of Fish, when I said about FB he said that it was ok he understood, but then yest I didn’t hear from him and when I text him he was really off and short. I asked him was there something wrong and he said Just sick. He was online last night and I messaged him last night to say I hope I didn’t annoy or offend you and text isn’t a good form of communication as things not explained fully / misinterpreted etc. Anyway no he hasn’t responded. To just stop speaking to me over a FB request is ridiculous - up until that point he was totally keen. He did say to me on the phone that he had been cheated on twice and seemed particularly prickly about it so I suspect he has taken that I didn't want to add him on FB that I have a secret husband or something!!!! When in reality I don't want him seeing my fat pics!! :eek:

So anyway obviously I am annoyed. I was lying awake at 1 am cross and thinking about a Chinese lol…………..here comes the comfort eating.
Anyway determined to keep the wallowing minimal! I’ve lost 6.5 lbs in 2 weeks which I’m delighted with and is totally fab for me at this stage. I’m going to the crazy kettlebells class tonight and getting my hair done tomorrow. Now that the date is off I will just relax tomorrow night. I really need to sort my clothes and I just keep putting it off – so I will set myself a target of getting a bag off to the charity shop this weekend and getting 3 items on Ebay.
Am going to have to go and buy 2 pairs of Size 12 trousers for work in black and navy - When I am sorting my clothes I should put a pair of my old size 20's on just to see lol. My shoes are all now getting too big as well!!!!!!!!!:eek:
