Re: The Date – FOR ALL INTERESTED (LOL)
Well, yes I am a dark horse as you say Sary lol.
Although not sure if it is happening now as I think I’ve chased him away! He was very very keen and texting a lot and I was doing the whole playing hard to get thing – which I think I took a little too far. There has been a fair amount of banter and craic! He also added me on FB yesterday – and I’d never told him my surname. I of course freaked out - blocked him on FB and then sent him a message to say there was no way we were being friends on FB as my whole life was on there – think he has taken the hump with this! I did text him last night and said that I didn’t mean to be offensive etc! and he never replied.
Hes 6 ft 3, big bald rugby type guy – same age as me – 34 – lives in the same village (which I don’t like) as if it goes wrong then I’ll be banging into him at the Muller Lights in Asda!!:rotfl:
So who knows – hate all this – my stomach is doing flips lol! Sometimes I think I get afraid of rejection and so I create obstacles or a fight so that I don’t get hurt! Although to be fair I think most people would understand why I freaked out about the facebook request!! If someone wants to know something about me then they can ask me – not find out from FB. Besides all my fat pics are on there.
Maybe I’m not ready after all! :rotfl:
So yeah - If I hear from him I will go and try to behave nicely!

Morning all, Lantanna wow tracking you down on Facebook is one thing, adding you as a friend before the date, I think I'd say no too! But hopefully you can get back talking and get on with the date.
I need help if you can...
Out to dinner tonight at an Italian restaurant, what on earth do I order to stay on plan? I'm veggie, they have all the normal pizza, pasta, risotto, gnocci, This is the menu: http://paolos-restaurant.co.uk/site/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/Paolos-Restaurant-Main-Menu.pdf
Any ideas what is better than anything else? Do I avoid creamy ones?

Thanks guys!
We have one friend in common, to be fair I had already checked him out on FB but hadn't sent him a friend request!
Still haven't heard anything which is most unlike him as I normally get a good morning text at some stage long before now.
But I won't be sending anything else!
I'm having very negative thoughts lol
: ) xx0 -

Just looking at that menu has made me hungry!! lol
If it was me I would prob just call it a flexi day and have what I wanted within reason. I def wouldn't have pizza or a big plate of pasta though.
If you want to be really good, skip the starter and order the Caesar Salad with Chicken or Salmon & ask them to put the dressing, cheese & croutons on the side.
You could go for the steak or the chicken, again get the dressing on the side and maybe order a side salad to go with.
Personally though If its a treat to go out and not a regular occurrence I would just have a little of what you fancy and be super on it the rest of the week!!0 -
Thanks for the advice Iantanna, as I'm only in my first week of SW I do want to try and be good, and have a loss on Monday. I'm a vegetarian, so it's a bit more difficult. Wonder if the tomato based risotto would be OK? Or I could ask them to do a half portion of something with a salad, perhaps I'll call them and ask.0

I'm overwhelmed at everyone's kindness and concern. Thank you especially to lucky-legs for the beautiful poems- I have to confess to sobbing my heart out when I read them but being a literature student at the moment I am especially grateful to see such beautiful poetry right now. I have made the decision to attend her funeral as I couldn't not say goodbye. As I've said she was a very dear friend and I will never forget her and the impression she made on my life.
Thanks again everyone and I'll speak to you all again soon.
Night all xxxxLucky Legs – Love those poems – I lost my little dog last year and the first poem in particular was lovely and made me think of her.
You are both very welcome, I hope it has helped you both...I must confess though neither of them are my own work...Although I enjoy writing poetry I'm not that good!! LOL
Mrs Ryan, I hope things are bettter for you today xxx
Lantanna, I hope however your date works out it goes well for you x
Thanks to everyone for the warm welcomes xx

Stay away from anything creamy but tomato based stuff is ok. There was a feature in a magazine a while ago and it suggested melon to start followed by napolitana/arribiatta pasta for main XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j
