lantanna, have fun on your date

gingerfurball, enjoy Lanzarote, wish it was me!

macpep, tatties, ham and cabbage- what can I say; it's a delicacy! Do you fry your cabbage in with the bacon? Mmmmmmm, drooling at the thought.

So sorry to hear you've lost a friend, Mrs_Ryan.

Lunch: smoked salmon & scrambled eggs, mixed berries
Dinner: hexa galss of ss milk, SW lamb rogan josh, stewed, just-about-to-go-off pears which turned out to be rotten round the core, eww! so had some grapes
    Snacks: choc digestive (3)

Syns so far - 7 and I still have my hexb, so I should be ok for this evening :)

    Thursday's plan

Lunch: roast pork & salad sandwich (hexb, if I remember to buy a wee wholemeal loaf!), banana

MrsRyan, I'm so sorry for your loss. In my experience of losing someone you love and care for, it's quite natural to feel numb. It sounds like your friend really appreciated the friendship you had, so I would take great comfort in that. Take care xx

    Evening gang,

Lantanna - well get you being the dark horse! Two weeks in and dating already - go girl! I do think we deserve to know a bit more about the potential date though, purely for your benefit, naturally... it's not that we're nosy at all ;)

Welcome back Lucky-legs, hope things are improving for you now.

Well I've had my hair cut today, and I even asked my hairdresser to cut a bit more off, so I'm bound to be lighter for next WI now!

I was absolutely starvin marvin when I came out from the salon, but was near a s/mkt and nipped in and got a plain salad bowl, and some hot chicken thighs from the counter (took off the skin), and then had a yogurt - while sat in the car. Felt very pleased with myself, especially considering I had to walk past the big display of hot cross buns that would usually have been my lunch - all 6 of them :/ Remind me why I'm here again? lol

Right, so here's today's plan: EE

B - porridge (heb) with milk (hea) sugar (2)
    L - Mixed salad, chicken, Total 0% split-pot (2)
    snack - apple
    D - LO lasagne (2), salad cream (2)
    Total syns = 8

Big discovery today has to be the Total 0% greek split-pot yogurts. Ermagherd! They are a-maze-b@lls! to paraphrase my teen :D Absolutely delicious, and taste like something worth so many more syns.
