    Good morning lovelies

I've taken the bull by the horns and have an electrician, a joiner and two double glazing firms, and a plasterer coming each night next week to price up and prioritise work needing done in the house. OH had a plumbing/heating business so his old partner is coming to plan the kitchen and bathroom;)

Work came to a halt when OH took ill then needed treatment and we had to use our savings to live. Since he passed, I've sat on this for the last three years but now enough is enough. Just so scared I make the wrong decision!! I've also paid DS1's accommodation for next year, his final one :jso losing weight might not be so difficult as there will be no blimmin money for food:eek::eek:

It's wonderful when that lightbulb goes off, I've had a few recently!!

Anyway today is EE again -

Breakfast - toast HEB and scraping light chive Philly (0.5 HEA)
Lunch - roasted paprika chicken breast with pickles, pineapple and Muller Light.
Dinner - Roasted veg with noodles and soy sauce

Two splashes of milk for coffee at work. Trying to keep syns as it's DS2s birthday tomorrow.

Have a good one folks x

Lantanna, meant to say I think you're doing the right thing:T You have done so well and I think a break away from class will find you at the weight and fitness level you are happy with.

How do you go about find a trainer, is it through the gym?

Lantanna my little love x you are doing the right thing totally with target calling now. I'm out of love with the whole congratutions you lost a lb tell us what you did differently mentality of group, I also hate the good/bad food mentality ... I like all food I sometimes chose bad foods but that doesn't make me a bad person xxx

My plan is I'm sticking with sw loosely for the summer ... September I'm joining the gym as mini me will be starting preschool for 3 mornings a week. So my plan is gym 2 mornings - drive one morning and then swim with her in the pm ;) x that's my plan at the mo anyway just need to so some serious money juggling now to make it work :/

    Maman how was ur holiday?
Started sw 02/09/13 - total loss so far -5st 1lb

Lantanna - I think you're right to call target now. You've done really well and I think your body is now telling you that it's happy with the weight you are now.

My body certainly told me I'd picked too low a target at one stage and I had to up my target a bit and have now stayed thereabouts for the last couple of years.

Jelly belly & Mildredd - thanks!

Yes I think I really need a break from it, a little time for celebration and focusing on the new me (plus getting my head around the fact I look different now)!! New direction and challenges.

I was a Size 20 busting out of it in fact and now I'm a 12 I'm happy with that - I never thought I'd be a Size 12, I've always been a Size 16 upwards as an adult - in my head I probably feel like a Size 16. I'm broad shouldered and medium boned and I would probably start to look really sick if I went much smaller than a 12 though. I might end up a Size 10 on the bottom but I could never be a Size 8 all over etc I'm just not built that way. I've always been curvy and always had a substantial rack - it isn't going anywhere lol.

I am who I am and its time to embrace that. And learn to love me for bad - bad bits and all. (I'm fairly off on one today lol)

I just can't cope with the group anymore, I find it really depressing - don't get me wrong it has been useful at times but I personally think SW lacks in supporting target members and those who have had big losses! I can't be the person that sits there every week anymore that everyone gasps and points at.

Yes I've lost 6 stone but it didn't come off overnight. I got my 6 stone award in April. I have been significantly different for all of 2014. This is the new me - the old me is gone. Its done, goodbye to her - I don't want to be pointed at anymore - yes I have lost weight but that girl is gone - this is the new me now and she is staying so get used to it world coz I have.

I had a lb on last night and I was getting whats wrong with you, that's not like you etc. Guess what folks I find it hard at times too, I struggle just as much as everyone else and eat rubbish at times, go way over my syns and have really really terrible food days. I am not some sort of supermachine that does SW to the t 100 % of the time. But what I have is determination, determination to have lost this weight and determination that I am never going back. I am also determined that I will have a life as well and enjoy myself with it!!!

I am also a person who has feelings, other interests, a personality and a life outside of Slimming World. I am not just that girl in group / in the village that has lost all that weight!! I do not want to talk about my weight all the time or what I am or am not eating !! :)

Jellybelly - Ive googled some trainers and there is plenty on facebook etc. Will probably see if I can get on a recommendation - I'd be mighty interested to see what my body fat content is!!!

Really looking forward to getting into that / the next step and something different. From April 2013 I have sat in that group every thurs night and have missed about 5 weeks max. Its time for something else for me.

The SW way of eating is ingrained into my head and I am certain that I will eat that way forever now. It is an effective way of losing weight and I appreciate that support and groups vary etc.

Its time for me to move on :)

I'll still be here ranting though, I'm sure you will all be delighted for me to hear!!

lantanna - that's a good way of looking at things, and I can imagine it being a pain being held up as the 'one who lost 6 stone' every week. Your plan to get fit sounds a great one, and accepting you'll never be tiny as well. Size 8 has got to be overrated! But thanks for saying you'll stay with us even if leaving group, I've not been here long but it's really helpful to see how others have done and are doing.

I had branflakes and banana for breakfast, scrambled eggs, toast & spinach and tomatoes for lunch, so done pretty well so far.

I still have no idea what is for dinner. I've got veg and bits in, and my plan to go to the supermarket is disappearing as my baby boy has gone down for a nap and he tends to be a while.

So, I'm off to the kitchen to see what I've got and cobble something together! Gonna keep whatever it is as all free food if possible.

Your long post above is really, really inspiring Lantana.
    I read it twice!
Brilliant that you are now a healthy size and want to put the past behind you. Great that you don't need to go to the group (I totally get that!) and also that you feel you can use sw as a long term healthy eating plan. Enjoy the exercise and your good health xxx
